While the repair was affordable and completed on time I felt disrespected by the service manager Scott.
He said to me he called the former owner to get my phone # which puzzled me because he had already called me 2x... Like he was fishing for something then i called the former owner and she had Not received a call from him. I found out later he lied to me! That was disturbing, Why would you call the previous owner when you already had my #? And why would you tell me you called her? Something stinks. I spent 2000+ dollars and it was my 1st experience here at the dealer and unfortunately my last! I didn't appreciate his attitude, and the lack of professionalism.

My RDX developed a rattle in the steering column that was annoying. They found the problem and had it fixed within a couple of hours. So happy to be rattle free. The service was top notch!!

I have had multiple dealings with Mike in the service department. He always welcomes me, now by name, is always very polite, upbeat, and friendly. Often I wait in the customer area when having an oil change, and he always gives me updates on the progress of the work. He also always offers a ride if I don't choose to wait for the service. He helped me sync my Bluetooth phone when I finally got one, and worked with me when it turned out that the car's Bluetooth wasn't working and the warranty had expired.
The best part of the coming in for service is that everything is explained and questions answered thoroughly, and there is no pressure for extra work to be done. I don't feel like unnecessary work is recommended, so when some procedure or repair is suggested, I have time to discuss it with my husband rather than make a snap decision.

Visited Ron Tonkin Acura to have a 2002 Acura MDX go through their so called (MPI World Class Inspection) paid $115. I got a list of things that I need to either fix or pay attention to and one of them was the timing belt ( which I paid them another $795 to fix). That wasn’t the problem, the problem was that I drove the SUV for less then 2 weeks and the transmission went out. I don’t understand what the world class test is supposed to do if it doesn’t find a major problem with a car especially the transmission. I wouldn’t have purchased this SUV if I was told by them that they found a problem with the transmission. I went back to Ron Tonkin Acura after the transmission went out and wouldn’t do anything to fix the situation. So I will never recommend their (world class inspection) to anyone.
