This is not the first vehicle we have purchased from Huffman's. They sell damaged vehicles and that is what you are buying. The staff are all knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They are upfront and honest regarding the vehicle you are buying. I will continue to purchase vehicles from them.

had a verified appointment with the service department on - Curtis T.

had a verified appointment with the service department on Monday morning at 9:00 and when I tried to contact them on the Wednesday to find out the status for an issue. I called six times with no answer and on the seventh got an answer. I found at that time that the vehicle was just being looked at on Wednesday afternoon not on the Monday when the vehicle was supposed to be looked at. Unsatisfactory for a customer stand point and not a good standing point if you want service at this location.

Purchased a new vehicle from Tri-Star Chevrolet. - Tom Mains

Purchased a new vehicle from Tri-Star Chevrolet. Absolutely love the vehicle. Don't love the deception and lying that went with it. Sales Manager tells me the car had a nano coating on the paint installed at the dealership and that it will cost extra since it's already on the car. I agree. Sales Manager and sales rep both let slip that the car is having the coating put on while I'm on the way to pick it up. I call them out on it during a phone call after the sale. Sales Manager denies that's what happened. When we are done he doesn't hang up his phone and I get to listen to him for the next 10 minutes tell someone else at the dealership how he lied to me because they wanted to make more on the car. During the call he tells his co-worker the General Manager, and I presume owner(he used their names) wanted to make more on the car and "what was he supposed to do". Confront Sales Manager and he eventually concedes he lied to me. Speak with General Manager and he tries to justify it before also conceding I was mistreated and lied to. No resolution beyond that. Be very careful if you choose to purchase from them.

In short, STAY AWAY! - disappointed buyer

In short, STAY AWAY! Go anywhere but Carder. True classic slick xxxxxxx salesmen pretending to be "christian family types", selling garbage vehicles. I had a such a great experience, and got such a great vehicle in 2019, that I went back. Biggest mistake I could have made. The current staff and current business approach is the total opposite of my original experience. In their attempt to move stock they are selling total lemons. And playing sleight of hand doing it. They offered me $3,000 on my trade-in which, the next day, needed $2,700 worth of work - which I am sure they know of - and it still is not right. They shine up their cars and make them look pretty on Facebook but they do nothing mechanically - and they lean into the "as is" sale with zeal. It is sad when a truly decent organization stoops to such low action and tactics. As the fifth poorest state in the Union - it is sad when local businesses take such advantage of their neighbors. Truly shameful. They particularly prey on those who are in a pinch for an economical, functional vehicle, in a time when such stock is low and the economy is wreck.

Buyer beware: this dealership is shady, dishonest, and - jbird83

Buyer beware: this dealership is shady, dishonest, and their shop is not thorough. Trip & condition at pickup -My wife and I drove 3.5 hours to purchase the vehicle. -At pickup it was not detailed well (visible dirt stains), and the engine bay was extremely dirty/dusty. -The shop did a subpar engine bay “cleaning” and only addressed the interior spots we pointed out (I found more when I got home, along with a sticky substance on the dash behind the screen) Drive home & problems discovered -We rented a one-way car to pick it up, so my wife drove the first leg home and I drove once it got dark. -On a straight highway I noticed a clear pull to the left. -Tire pressure was not at Toyota’s recommended PSI. I corrected it, but the pull continued. Dealership response -I contacted the dealership and spoke with Sales Manager Will. He initially didn’t want to help. -I explained this should have been caught during the 160-point inspection for Toyota Gold Certification. -Will eventually said they would reimburse an alignment up to $200 if done at a local dealer. Local dealer visit & tire damage -The local dealer confirmed the alignment was significantly off (they didn’t print the measurements for me). -After that visit, my wife immediately noticed a loud noise. -I later found feathering on the outer edge of a tire that still has 9/32 of its original 10.1/32 tread depth (fairly new). -The feathering was likely caused by bad alignment and/or driving with low tire pressure—something I would have noticed during the test drive if the alignment and pressure had been correct from the start. Escalation -When I contacted Will again, he said my only option was to bring the vehicle back and trade it in. -I told him I planned to post an honest review of my experience. He said that if I posted a review, he wouldn’t send the reimbursement he had already promised for the alignment. -I told him I would only be stating the truth about my experience. I lied and said I wouldn’t post so I could receive the promised reimbursement. Now that I have it, I want others to know what to expect. Warranty misrepresented -My sales rep Jeff told me the vehicle had: ~Toyota Gold Certified 7-year/100,000-mile drivetrain warranty, and ~1-year/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, starting on my purchase date. -After receiving the Toyota warranty card, I learned the coverage is only up to 100,000 total vehicle miles—something I missed in the contract—so I have nothing to fall back on for this issue. Bottom line -I will never do business with this dealership again. -If you buy a car here, be thorough and take your time making sure that it is in the condition that is expected.

THIS GUY RYAN NEEDS TO BE REALLY COMMENDED FOR HIS... - Mikewv304

THIS GUY RYAN NEEDS TO BE REALLY COMMENDED FOR HIS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. To rate a place of business 5 stars is saying that they were darn near perfect. Well my visit today consisted of my 3rd vehicle purchased with in a 8 year period. Fortunately this guy named Ryan had sold me all 3 hehicles. Let me say that he has to be the most well manored, polite and very professional at this job. Definitely not a regular car salesman he cares about the customer and what he puts them in to drive. He gets a 5 star rating. Now I can tell you that Charles in the service department is also worthy of these 5 stars with his work of excellence. Great mechanic !! And the total service from the garage is and always has been EXCELLENT!! IHAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THESE GREAT AND VALUABLE EMPLOYEES. I WILL RETURN. THANK YOU GUYS Mikey T

I bought a car on July 10th. - Michelle Grove

I bought a car on July 10th. I made sure (in writing) that financing was APPROVED before I signed and drive off in the car. I made it very clear that I did not want to drive a car I didn't own. Everything was fine for 9 days. Suddenly and without warning, Autoland needed me to sign a different financing agreement. In Maryland, dealer sales are final after four days (maximum). If the dealer wants to take car back, they have to legally repossess it. Instead, Autoland stole the car from my driveway.

I purchased a SLK out of state in Virginia and had to - Joey

I purchased a SLK out of state in Virginia and had to have Morgantown dealership update the key fobs, and keys. Also, they performed.an overall inspection of the vehicle? I’ve had it there a few times for service and parts and always, always met with the most pleasant of people and great service. Definitely a five star facility.

Very poor service. - JAT

Very poor service. I do not trust the maintenance department or their advisors, especially Austin Kuhn. I had to bring my car back three times for the same issue, and the quality of the work was still poor. Even more concerning, they claimed they changed the oil when it had not been changed. After that experience, I would not even trust them with a basic oil change. The advisors were dishonest with me about what services had been completed, and I have completely lost confidence in this maintenance department. I live only 3 miles away, but I would rather drive almost 40 miles to Morgantown to have my car serviced than come back here. I strongly recommend going elsewhere for maintenance or service.
