I trust her when she explains to me in terms that I understand about repairs needed to make certain I am safe while driving my 2020 Nissan Kicks. She is an asset!

I recently visit Reidsville Nissan for an oil change, tire rotation, and front-end alignment. Unfortunately, my experience was very frustrating. I had to return four different times because the issue was never corrected. After the second and third visits, I was never informed that my car supposedly needed additional parts. It wasn’t until later that they mentioned I needed two parts, which should have been communicated earlier. Clear communication and proper diagnostics are important when customers trust you with their vehicles. After multiple trips and the problem still not being fixed, I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. Against my better judgment, l returned to Reidsville Nissan after the manager reached out to me. This ended up being my fifth visit. They finally installed the part I didn’t need the part they installed per their mechanic assessment. I had to leave my car for a couple more days before a master technician corrected the issue -something that should have been done after my second visit. There was an agreement for me to pay half for the parts, even though they didn't truly fix the problem. By my sixth visit, I had to bring my father-in-law with me so we could sit down and have a conversation about everything | had gone through. In the end, Nissan covered the cost, which I appreciate, but it doesn't make up for the time, frustration, and repeated trips should never be necessary to resolve a basic issue. My one-star rating stands, and I will not be returning to this dealership.

After the oil change was done the tech left the bottom flap under the car un bolted. It was very disconcerting how they left our vehicle open to damage. I texted the manager but never heard back. We went down to Nissan to have it fixed. Waited in the lobby and no one came out to tell us the work was done. Even after I told the tech I had an appt to go to. I was very disappointed in Nissan and we will be looking elsewhere for my car service needs.

I came in to have an oil change, tire rotation and aligment. I have been a customer for years and typically, I am very satisfied with the services but this time it completely different. I maintain the car well and am on top of the maintenance. I had a coupon for an oil change and aligment but know that rotation is necessary to have a proper alignment. It was assigned to a "Master Mechanic" It took several hours without an appointment. The service was over $200 with the coupon. When I got the car back, the seat was lowered to the lowest level and on the tracks and push back as far as it could go. I know people adjust based on height but not lowering it. I sat down expecting to adjust for my height but sat down on the tracks. I got out and adjusted it but noticed the seat support felt different. I drove away, immediately noticing a loud noise coming from the driver's side only. After about 3 miles away, I stopped at the traffic light and got out to look if there was something wrong. I opened the windows thinking that the rear window was partially down or the back door wasn't closed properly. None of that was a factor. I called the service advisor but he didn't answer. I left a message and he called me back later. By this time, I was nearing home. The car wasn't in alignment and pulled to the right when driving and veered to the left when breaking. I told him how the steering was tight and hard to maneuver. I told him about the over inflation, the noise and different in operation. The advisor asked when he called back to ask if I would come back that afternoon but I was back in Raleigh. The tires are to be inflated at 33 lbs but the mechanic over inflated to 40. He must have performed a fluid drainage because the power steering was nearly gone, the reservoir for the coolant was nearly empty and the washer fluid was too. I checked the oil but it was fine. I had to purchase power steering fluid and coolant at Autozone Tuesday. The car doesn't accelerate unless I floor it. The seat is damaged. The mechanic damaged the driver's seat by adjusting it to get in and out of the cabin. I told the advisor how I found the seat on Monday. He suggested that we go look at it. We both saw the motion and heard the "clicking" on the track and against the plastic trim. The knobs are clearly lose. The advisor stuck his hand under seat, where he felt plastic that dragged when the seat was engaged. They was an indentation in the seat. The back stuttered when moved. I spoke to the service manager and told him about all of the problems with the service, the over inflations, the noise and the seat. He cavalierly asked what did I want. I told him to fix my seat. He asked for pictures for proof before bring it in. The noise is still there even though he'd put the tires back like they were before the alignment. He found a problem with the wheel bearing and suggested fluid drainage. I got the wheel bearing replaced but they charged me for the highest costing one when the had one that was $100 less. My total bill for a car that isn't working or fix was nearly $1000. I asked to speak to the GM and even emailed him but he won't call or respond to my emails. When I call, I'm told that he doesn't have a direct line or that he isn't working. I called today (Thursday) and everyday since but was told he isn't at work, that he was in fact at work yesterday but "maybe" he was at lunch. I called today which is Friday but they refuse to connect me. The receptionist asked what the call is about. I explain and then told that he stepped out. I called first thing in the morning. I had to take the car twice after leaving to set the tires to 33 lbs. There's even an alarm that causes the horn to blow when over inflated but this master mechanic ignored it. I'm going to continue to reviewing with every site until my issue is resolved.

Back in April we bought a Ram Laramie from Michael Jordan Nissan. Within hours of leaving the lot, the vehicle began having problems, starting with an alignment that pulled extremely hard to one side. After driving it for almost two hours to get home, it was very apparent that the alignment needed corrected. Within the next couple days, the charging pad in the front console began not working. A couple of weeks later, it started raining and we noticed a very large leak in the rear window. At that time we took the vehicle in to Michael Jordan Nissan since this was all within a very short time. The used car manager, Jonathan, was very hard to deal with and almost didn’t seem to want to make it right. Eventually he gave us a loaner and they ended up keeping the Ram for close to two weeks. Supposedly the Ram dealership in Durham fixed all of these issues and said the truck was good to go. We make the trip back up to Durham from Fayetteville to pick the Ram up. (All the while the other vehicle we purchased from them was in the shop for a sensor issue when we had JUST purchased that vehicle just days prior) So we had TWO vehicles that were purchased within a month that were both now in the shop. Both used cars. Jonathan was less than compassionate in this situation. We picked the Ram up and a couple of months later we notice the truck smelling really badly. The back window was still leaking, water pouring in the vehicle just as if the window wasn’t there. We take the Ram to the local dealership only to find out this vehicle has been in an accident that wasn’t reported on the carfax and now there are tens of thousands of dollars that are not covered under warranty and we are expected to pay for it on our own. I contacted Sabrina Hemby, who is literally the most amazing person, who immediately told the manager, Jonathan. The manager assured me that if I brought the vehicle to him right that moment, he would work out a deal and get us in something the same, if not better. He had a 2023 Demo he could get us in with no problem. Needless to say…. Many problems! I rushed up to Durham only for Jonathan to advise me that without another 13k down, there was nothing he could do. Excuse me?!? You had me drive two hours to tell me something you could have told me over the phone? Then I find out that while I’m there, he runs my credit WITHOUT my approval to see what I could be approved for. Jonathan then told me that without the 13k down, I would just be stuck with the Ram that was in an accident without my knowledge. Jonathan was “so bothered” by the fact that I wouldn’t fork out 13k that he had to immediately leave the office not to even return. He sent in a finance manager (who is a very close friend of mine and is one of two reasons we have bought over 8 vehicles from them. Corey Hemby and his wife are the ONLY reason we continue to do business with the dealership) in to just buy our truck back and call it even. I really had no choice at this point. So we’ve paid on a vehicle since April to only drive for three of the four months we’ve had it and now you will pay off my loan but I’m now screwed with no second vehicle. I say all of this to say, BUYER BEWARE! Jonathan is very crooked and will screw anyone over to make a dollar.
