I'm updating my previous review because, unfortunately, - KJF
I'm updating my previous review because, unfortunately, my experience changed after the sale.
In my original review, I said there were no surprises—and at the time, that was true. However, today I received a letter from Kia stating that I owe $1,661.83 for my previous lease.
When I purchased my new vehicle, I was told that Rick Case Kia would take care of everything related to my old lease. After receiving the letter, I texted Michael to ask what it was about. He responded by saying I had signed paperwork acknowledging that I was responsible for my old lease.
While I did sign the paperwork, Michael explained it to me at the time by saying that my balance would be $0 because Rick Case Kia was taking care of everything. Based on that explanation, I believed I had nothing further to pay.
Now I'm being told I owe over $1,600, and I feel misled and deceived. What started as a positive buying experience has turned into one of frustration and disappointment. I trusted what I was told, and I don't feel that trust was honored.
Here is the old review:
I have to say, Michael Beltran was amazing to work with. I completed the entire deal through text, which was perfect for me as a busy mom of three with a demanding career.
The deal was exactly what he said it would be—no surprises. He even helped me set up the digital key, which had me completely confused. After having an awful experience at another dealership, working with Michael was a breath of fresh air.
When it's time to buy our next Kia, I will definitely be reaching out to him again. Highly recommend!
