I was born in Silvis, Illinois and currently reside in Moline. I graduated form Rockridge High School on 2001. My appreciation for the automotive industry came as a young child with my family also being in the automotive industry. I began my career at Zimmerman as a lot porter in 2002, and in 2004 was promoted to an entry level technician in the service department. With years of experience as a used vehicle technician and associated training, I accepted a new position as a Service Advisor in 2012, and most recently service manager in 2021. It is my priority to ensure your vehicle is serviced accurately and timely to make your experience in Zimmerman service an excellent one. I am an avid Cubs and Bears fan who enjoys taking in a game or two when I can get away. I have become a Raving Fan of Zimmerman Honda. Zimmerman Honda is without question the most professional business that I have ever been associated with in my life. Smooth No-nonsense dealership. Great service center as well. The atmosphere inside the facility is great, lots of space, play area for the kids, nice lounge No-nonsense dealership. Louis went over our entire owners manual, tabbed pages, highlighted sections, taught us about our new options. The finance manager had books in his office to help keep our 2 1/2 yr old occupied... So much easier/smoother than the other dealerships I have had the displeasure of dealing with. It will be hard to get me into another dealership if they keep doing what they're doing! We came back to Zimmermans for our second Honda. This is the second Honda we've purchased at Zimmerman Honda. We bought a Honda Fit in 2008 from Jeff Deets. We've had it serviced there and their service dept is awesome. They get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time and, if you wait there, there is a great area with a tv and free snacks. When it was time to purchase another car we knew we had to go back to Zimmermans. Ron Allgood helped us pick out our new car a 2011 Honda CRV. Perfect name for him, as our experience was again "All Good". He answered all our questions, got us a great interest rate at our bank, heck, he even filled our gas tank and washed the car before we left. A big thank you to all the folks at Zimmerman's for the friendly, courteous service. More

Jeff Dolan was our sales person. He was our sales person on our last car also and he will be on our next one also bet on it. We had a lot of Questions about buying vs. leasing. Jeff answered all of those c on our last car also and he will be on our next one also bet on it. We had a lot of Questions about buying vs. leasing. Jeff answered all of those concerns and pointed out things we had not thought to ask as well. By the time we made the decision we were very confident that we had all the facts to make the right decision and no pressure to do or not do either. There were Additional options that we wanted added to the car. When we came in to accept the car ALL of the options were already on the car. My wife and I had expected to have to make another appointment to have them installed WE WERE DELIGHTED.. one trip all done. In addition all the paperwork was already done for us making it a no waiting purchase. We hate an all day sinning and waiting time to buy a car like we have at other dealers. Once the car was delivered Jeff went completely through the options and settings. We left the dealership completely understanding everything about our new car and how it worked. Jeff did all the work needed to get us in and out with our new car. Now to the Service end. I have identified Al Castor as having to do with this purchase. That is indirectly true. Once we purchase a car that's not the end of it. Service is equally as important in our decision to return to that dealer. That's where Al comes in on this purchase. Al Castor is the go to guy when the regular maintenance and oil changes come in on our cars. An unpleasant service experience can turn us off as fast as anything. Al has squeezed us in at times when it was really needed quick and always takes care of us on regularly scheduled appointments. Al is also one of the big reasons we keep coming back to Zimmerman's. Lastly Jeff and Al and all of the Zimmerman staff are what I like to call "just folks" I am a bit of a jokester and the people at Zimmerman's are a great fit with my personality. They are "just Folks" The sales and service experiences are all very professional but you don't have to be a stuffed shirt to accomplish that. It's not against the rules to laugh and talk like friends. The people at Zimmerman's know that and they are real people. Yes its a business and we have expectations on that end But a trip to Zimmerman's is also like a trip to see old family friends, The fact that Honda has a great product is our reason for choosing Honda. But the People at Zimmerman Honda is the reason we keep coming back there ' More

I bought my first Honda Pilot from Jim Ruge of Zimmerman Honda in 2003 after returning from combat in Iraq. The service, support and professionalism was excellent at that time. My 2007 Odyssey has been a dependable vehicle since I purchased it new at Zimmerman’s with Ruth Sanders. Zimmerman’s performed all the maintenance and always contacted me if additional work might be req purchased it new at Zimmerman’s with Ruth Sanders. Zimmerman’s performed all the maintenance and always contacted me if additional work might be required. On one of my last visits, I fully expected to need tires based on the number of miles I had on them. The service representative quickly pulled up the vehicle check in sheet and told me how much tread was remaining on all tires and their conditions. Based on my pre-purchase homework, I didn’t expect any major engine or drive train problems. Without warning, the engine started running rough. I took my van into Zimmerman’s Service Dept. to check out the problem. I spoke to AJ Castor and explained the problem. AJ kept me up to date on the progress of determining the problem with daily phone calls. It was later determined that an internal mechanical failure had contributed to damage that required a new engine. My warranty had expired and I was faced with 2 very expensive options. This was not a mechanical issue they usually see and I couldn’t find any indication on the internet of Honda engine failures. Just within my immediate neighbors, we have 3 Odysseys, 2 Pilots and 2 Accords and a CRV so I know Honda is a dependable vehicle. I asked AJ if they could try running it past the next level of Honda which turned out to be a District Honda Rep. Not knowing the process, I may have panicked a little and contacted Ruth hoping she could act as an advocate for me in the process. Ruth contacted me right away and verified things were being processed. When it was referred to the district person, I really expected a lot of red tape. It didn’t happen. A happy AJ called me and explained a very generous offer from Honda for a new engine. I didn’t have to fight, argue, provide maintenance records or the like. Just a very nice offer waiting for my approval. A verbal approval over the phone and before I knew it, I was picking up my freshly washed Odyssey with a new engine and extended warranty. It was really a painless experience considering the initial diagnosis of major engine failure. Daily updates from AJ and hand holding from Ruth helped me realize that “Great Customer Service” does still exist. I need to put a few more miles on the van but when it’s time for a replacement, I know where I can get Great Service. I'll be back at Zimmerman's. More
