Great experience. I bought a used 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse with 121,500 miles on it in May 2023. I had never bought such an old car before, so I wanted to spend some ti I bought a used 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse with 121,500 miles on it in May 2023. I had never bought such an old car before, so I wanted to spend some time with it before I posted a review. Now it's 4 months and 1,500 miles later and it has not required any mechanical repairs. In the spring of 2023 I was shopping around for a used car for my 16 yr old daughter. We live in the SW Chicago suburbs, so I looked at several 2006-2009 Mitsubishi Eclipses around NE Illinois, NW Indiana and SW Wisconsin. The best ones sold quickly, so when I saw Heiser was getting one ready for sale I jumped in my car and started driving to Milwaukee. I called Heiser on the way and spoke with Alex Hall. The car wasn't ready yet, but I wanted to see it anyway, so Alex let me take a look at it and take it for a test drive. I could tell from the Carfax report that the car was being maintained all the way up to time the previous owner sold it to Heiser, and I didn't see any red flags to indicate any mechanical issues, so I took their word for it that the car was in good shape. The asking price on the Toyota website was too high, but it only took a few minutes to agree on a price comparable to other similar cars I had recently looked at. No haggling or pressure. Heiser promised to clean up the car and finish replacing a body part that they had already ordered. A few days later I returned to Heiser to finish the paperwork. The car was cleaned up and ready to go as promised. It's a high mileage car, so I am expecting occasional small and medium maintenance issues, and it's likely I'll have some bigger repairs coming in the future, but it is good to know that the car on the day it was sold to me did not have any issues, as promised. More
