Now to be fair I offered around 1k below what other dealers had initially quoted for the outback to hopefully get a conversation started, and got several requests back for my credit card information to take a $2000 deposit immediately if the quote was approved. Keep in mind this is still a deal with no window sticker or VIN number attached. When I said I would not give a credit card number to charge $2000 before a written agreement regarding a specific vehicle, I simply got 1 line back saying my offer was rejected. Thinking this was just a quirk of Alex, I messaged the dealership through their website asking if they could match or beat the best offer I currently had, and got back more junk about credit card deposits or coming in to discuss without them being willing to confirm my price and options. Not wanting to waste any more time in this process, I just bought from the dealer with the quote I asked them to match. More

Efficient and fair I had done a lot of research about what the new car I wanted was worth and what my trade-in (a 2016 Suburu) was worth and had a bad experience with an I had done a lot of research about what the new car I wanted was worth and what my trade-in (a 2016 Suburu) was worth and had a bad experience with another dealership who tried a deceptive deal in an ad I got. So I went to Cityside, after finding it had fairly good ratings and knowing it was nearby to where I live. Alex greeted me when I arrived and we had a cordial discussion and an efficient exchange on what a fair deal would be. With only a modicum of further discussion we settled on exactly what I felt was fair and I got the car I wanted. After the sale Alex contacted me to make sure all was well and to answer any other questions I had. I asked about one thing that required follow-up and he did in fact follow up. Also, I love my new car. I got the Outback limited with all the safety features and the engineering is wonderful! Some minor features that I found deficient in the 2016 model were now taken care of and I have absolutely no complaints about the 2018 model. More

I had an appointment with them to drive a car that turns out they didn't even have (a friend of mine who worked in the area stopped in to see the car I was going to buy which I was told was smack in the middle of the showroom...wasn't there) so I used that appointment time to go test drive a car at Cityside. I'm very glad I did, regardless of Metrowest's reputation it would be hard to beat the customer experience I had at Cityside. My search for a car was bittersweet because I had a car that I absolutely loved and would've kept forever, however was totaled by a guy who ran a stop sign. That changed when I test drove their 2018 WRX. Had never owned a Japanese-built car until now, previously all Audi and BMW, but man are they giving those German manufacturers a serious run for their money. On Cityside and Tom; I had a budget and Tom made sure I got the car I wanted in the budget range I needed, and he did it fast. I wish I could buy another car from him just to watch him work his magic to get the deal done. 10/10 would recommend not only Cityside Subaru, but Tom DAlessandro to anyone looking to buy a Subaru, or anything off Cityside's lot for matter. More
