We bought a jeep compass 2023, very nice car, in very good condition, at a good price. The problem was that we paid for it on Monday but had to wait until Thursday morning to pick it up because our insur good condition, at a good price. The problem was that we paid for it on Monday but had to wait until Thursday morning to pick it up because our insurance had a 48 hour waiting period to be in effect. On Thursday went to pick up the car and drove home. When I parked I looked at the drivers side, over the tire, the car had a bump, which wasn’t there when we paid for it. I went back to the dealer and talked to the manager, Bob I think his name is, and when I showed him the bump he said: “well we are already loosing money on this car, like $500. There is nothing I can do for you”. First, they didn’t lose any money, we had to pay for two added services that we didn’t want, something related to the paint and another for theft prevention, both added $2,800 to the full price. I made two mistakes with this dealer: I paid the total amount in advanced, and I trusted them when I picked up the car that everything was ok. He knew it wasn’t. This happened when they moved the car in their parking lot. It was the typical bump at a low speed, the paint was intact but the side was sunken. Because I drove the car I couldn’t complain, but bobs response was enough to know that he knew what happened. I will have to send the car I just bought to the mechanic, leave it there for three days and pay $350 to fix it. Very frustrating, and an unnecessary lie when they already made a good deal and because it was their mistake. Sad. Next time I’ll pay when I’m ready to take the car and I’ll take pictures before I close the deal. More

Took 5-days to finalize the purchase. 100% full time isn’t there type of customer! Then when I really thought there couldn’t be anything wrong they force you to sign to agree to share your private information and when I said “no” they held up giving us the car until I signed. So I signed with “no consent!” The funny part was we liked the car so much we were considering buying the remaining 2025 inventory for our company but it will be a cold day in xxxx before I put myself through the purchase process with them ever again.
