Cesar was professional and went all the way to ensure that as customers we are happy . Yet the only very important aspect of accepting the purchase of my car was not met by the dealership detailing depar that as customers we are happy . Yet the only very important aspect of accepting the purchase of my car was not met by the dealership detailing department since I was promised a clean interior yet despite keeping the car more than 10 days , it was not done properly and the leather seats plus ceiling were still dirty More

This is a review that shows how snake oil sales tactics and extremely pushy bombarding sales team won’t stop or let you leave until they get what they want. I was shopping for a new vehicle. It so happe and extremely pushy bombarding sales team won’t stop or let you leave until they get what they want. I was shopping for a new vehicle. It so happened that I found the vehicle I wanted at another dealership, but that specific dealership didn't have the color I wanted. After looking online, I found the exact match and color at Lithia Hyundai of Reno. I live over an hour away, so I confirmed they had one they actually had 3 on the lot exactly the same. I decided it would be worth checking out. I drove in and verified the 3 on the lot were indeed the same exact as i was looking for. I never opened the door or drove a single one of the vehicles. I inquired about the $10K markup and told them that the other dealership didn't have ANY markup on the same exact vehicle. I explained that it would be silly if I paid $10K just to get the color I wanted. No No i rather wait and order one from the dealer closer to my home than spend that kind of money for no reason. I was fed excuse after excuse about why the markup was there. I made it crystal clear that unless the markup goes away like many other dealers regarding the same vehicle have done, I would leave. Then the old " sit here let’s talk and do some sort of square paperwork deal " whatever that means. All of a sudden, the markup disappeared however with the stipulation that THE DEAL MUST BE DONE RIGHT NOW!! I was not sure if I wanted to get my own credit union financing or pay cash or whatever the case, I shouldn't be pressured into something with tactics like this. After trying to get out of there I’m greeted by some sort of "manager" that tried to further talk me into it. Then a third "manager" shows up then some finance guy. Then I’m being pressured into over $4k of warranties that I repeatedly told them over and over " I DON'T WANT" I’m being told that they are required to push the extended warranties and service contracts. I don't care! I don't want it! I asked about the “ High desert protection package “ it has some sort of fabric protectant, paint protectant and a GPS tracking device. I wasn’t happy about the mandatory charges for the paint and fabric protector but I told them I didn’t want the GPS tracking device and would like it removed. I was told I would have to pay to have it removed and still pay for the device!!! Just wow! Meanwhile I have 3 people standing over me telling me to “sign this sign that, oh don’t worry it’s just a formality to get you the deal without markup “I kept telling them I wasn’t planning on doing anything today! I would come back tomorrow if I wanted to move forward. I was asked repeatedly for my personal info such as social security, date of birth etc. etc. I said no I don’t willingly give out that sensitive info to just anyone. I wasn’t even 100% sure on if I was seeking my own financing, paying cash or using their financing. So, there should be no need for that until a decision to use their financing has been made. I was told by one of the many managers that “Oh it’s to make sure you are who you say you are.” Ill furnish a driver’s license if that’s what you need for a test drive, but we didn’t even touch the vehicle. Later that day I called the dealership to make a decision. I was going to purchase the vehicle if certain financing parameters could be met, so I was ready to submit my data to run my credit and continue from there. I called the dealership and asked for my sales rep Cesar, I was told that they have never heard of a Cesar and no one works for them by that name. I was never given a card by anyone so I had no idea who the millions of managers names were. I went to their website found their staff section and found a couple of the managers and submitted a contact form. There was no direct contact info, so I left my details in the forms. Never heard back from anyone. not enough space for my whole review visit yelp.com to see the rest of the review. More
