I purchased a truck from this dealership in May and, four months later, they still have not delivered the title. The General Manager, Chris, refuses to return voicemails and takes no responsibility for the d months later, they still have not delivered the title. The General Manager, Chris, refuses to return voicemails and takes no responsibility for the dealership's mistakes. That lack of accountability shows poor leadership and a complete breakdown in communication. Additionally, they shorted me one of the keys that was pictured in the sales listing. This dealership has proven itself to be nothing more than the stereotype of shady used car sales associates. At this point, I've had to file a claim with the Texas DMV and escalate the issue to Sonic Automotive's parent company, to try to recover what I legally paid for. Buyers beware: if this is how they treat customers after the sale, imagine what else they cut corners on. UPDATE: The GM, Chris, finally reached out to me about all the issues with the purchase. He took care of the missing key from the sale so that I now have two keys for the truck, as well as a small token of his apology for the way things went. Issue is resolved, but I still waited four months for a title. More

Vernon Ford has no issue calling you nonstop when they are trying to make a sale, but after signing they suddenly cannot answer the phone or return a call or voicemail. We bought our daughter her first car in April 2025. It was used but only 4 years old. We checked it out and drove it, looked under the hood etc. my husband is pretty handy, so we know what to look for. It was used but only 4 years old. No check engine lights, no weird noises etc. Within a few days it started acting weird and finally after a couple of months left my daughter stranded out of town. We towed it back the dealership and the transmission is shot to the tune of $9k. They really pushed that extended warranty and now I know why. I called everyone asking for just a little help, anything to ease the slap of 9k on a car that we just bought that only cost us $18k. They would barely even talk to me and when they did it was lectures on how I should have bought the extended warranty and they had no way of knowing the transmission was bad, I completely understand buyer beware, but this was just hard to swallow and the fact that they really cared so little about someone who had just spent 18k at their store. We won’t ever return there and anyone who buys a used car should go somewhere else. More
