I am beyond angry! !! We purchased 3 vehicles from Koons Chevrolet and thought we had a good repor. When we purchased our last vehicle, the salesperson recommended an !! We purchased 3 vehicles from Koons Chevrolet and thought we had a good repor. When we purchased our last vehicle, the salesperson recommended an extended warranty. He didn’t say there were options as to what company our extended warranty came from. They just signed us up with Ally. I’m not going to lie and tell you that I never used the warranty, cause I did, but for insignificant reasons. Then one day the check engine light came on and when I took it in, I was told it needed an engine. Wow! Also keep in mind that Koons did every oil change and any other services that the car needed. I said okay and a new engine was put in. Come 17-18 months later and lo and behold, “that” engine needs to be replaced but this time neither Ally nor Dahlmer, will accept any liability. The last time it was due for an oil change, I took it to Valvoline. It was 2 weeks before I took it to Koons. I took it into the service department and they replaced a part on the car that cost me $1000. I didn’t even drive the car for a day and the check engine light came back on so when I took it back in this time they told me I needed a new engine. The bottom line is nobody will accept responsibility. I have been so upset. I haven’t even gone down there to argue about getting my thousand dollars back for the part that they put on my car that apparently my car didn’t even need. I had part of my colon removed, last September, because of cancer and I don’t need this stress. My husband is a certified master mechanic and he doesn’t think it requires a whole new engine. We will be taking it elsewhere, for a second opinion. Oh, and I forgot to tell you that they had my car for 3 weeks, while they went back and forth, and they kept telling me they didn’t have a rental. I got stuck at home, depending on friends and relatives for rides to my doctors appointments, etc., for three weeks. That is why I give Koons Chevrolet one star. If I could give them less than that, I would. More
