Hello my name is Curtis Hensley. I was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. I moved my family to Colorado Springs in January of 2022. We have three children and two dogs. I have been in the car business since 2010 and have held almost every position in a dealership. What i love about the car business is that there is never two days the same. **WORTH THE READ** BLUF: Corwin Toyota is the best dealership in town, give them a chance and you will not regret it. I admittedly ran into an issue with a used vehicle purchase from Corwin Toyota. Like any normal person, I was very frustrated. HOWEVER. I gave them a chance to fix it and I was beyond impressed with their willingness to work towards an agreed resolution, despite the fact that it was not their responsibility. Luke Nienabar (I know he will forgive me for the misspelling) was quick to help me close on my vehicle purchase without being pushy AT ALL. Very cool guy and super relatable. He will hands down help you purchase a vehicle and is not the typical aggressive salesman. Five star service from him. Preston Butz, sales manager, was one of the major reasons I proceeded with this purchase. He was willing to discuss the possibility of negotiating on a vehicle I was very interested in. He was reasonable and clearly cared about his job and his customers. Also five stars. Lastly and certainly not least, Curtis Hensley worked directly with me to resolve an issue I had ran into. Most dealerships cause people to lose confidence, but Curtis proved that Corwin Toyota cares about its customers. He was very intentional, respectful, and helpful in taking care of my concerns. At first I had a different opinion, and I see others who have had bad experiences here. I am certain if they expressed their concerns, they would be resolved in a timely and effective manner. Per Colorado state law (and printed on the Sales agreement provided by Corwin), the dealership is required to give the new owner the passing emissions test report OR offer the new owner a voucher to agreement provided by Corwin), the dealership is required to give the new owner the passing emissions test report OR offer the new owner a voucher to get their own testing done with a right to return in 3 days if it fails. None of this information was reviewed with me during the time of sale and no emissions test or voucher was provided (Dean Johnson & Ryan Halvorsen completed my sale). Now I'm trying to register my truck and was told by my county DMV that the dealer was supposed to provide this. I called and was directed to Jason Nye- he was rude and told me he had never heard of this law, they have plenty of customers across the state and have never been required to provide this? He wanted to argue with me and told me I was the first person that has ever brought this to their attention instead of actually looking into the law and finding out they are in breach of contract. Update- after posting this review, the GM called me personally to apologize for the finance manager's response and lack of knowledge and offered to cover the cost of the testing. This was a great experience up until time for registration. I appreciate the quick response from management and ave updated my review accordingly. More

Jeremy was great, but was not knowledgeable about the vehicle, and neither was I. I asked aobut specific features and were told the vehicle had them, when they did not. The truck was a manual with many vehicle, and neither was I. I asked aobut specific features and were told the vehicle had them, when they did not. The truck was a manual with many less options than an automatic, and I paid 3k more for a used 2021 vehicle than a new 2023 vehicle, and I don't give a hat the used market is like. If you are going to sell used vehicles for more than new, you best know the vehicle, and you should have people sign a piece of paper on all the features that is coming with it. Had I known of these options missing on the manual, I would have waited for a new vehicle. The dealership refused to do anything about it and basically told me tough luck (don't know which manager decided this, so they all get 1s.) Horrible experience that left me feeling like I was robbed. I will never shop there again, and I will let everyone I know shopping for a new vehicle to stay clear of Corwin Toyota. I have already contacted Toyota and left multiple reviews about this experience, as well as contacted their corporate office in Fargo, ND. A couple of days after this review, I got en email from dealerrated saying Corwin worked with me to resolve my issue. Just following up to indicate they have not, not in the least. More
