I bought my last Toyota from Toyota of Scranton which after 14 years was still going strong with 164,000 miles. Because of the reliability of my last truck I knew my new truck would have to be a Toyota T after 14 years was still going strong with 164,000 miles. Because of the reliability of my last truck I knew my new truck would have to be a Toyota Tundra. Last year I entertained getting a new truck and went to MotorWorld to investigate. I got a bad feeling there, a very distrusting feeling, and this year decided on a whim to give Toyota of Scranton a try again. Doug Stahl was my sales rep and to say top notch wouldn't say enough. I am in business and needed certain items on the truck which made it difficult to find. I know how hard he worked to get me a truck that fulfilled my needs at a reasonable cost. Doug kept me updated throughout the whole discovery process which took many months. The only reason I deducted a star was the finance department. I did not like the way the information was presented to me. All payment information was given with the extended warranty and service agreement added in but I never really saw actual numbers of how much these things added to the purchase price until after deciding based on how much the payment was as opposed to seeing actual costs. It wasn't until the decision was made and the actual documents were printed that I got to see the costs involved with each plan. My new truck is amazing though and hopefully all the "extras" will end up paying for themselves in the end. Only time will tell. More

Sold me a “certified” car that is loud and struggles to accelerate. When purchasing, I did mention that it sounds a little loud. I was told that’s “normal” and he was so used to hearing them all like that. I felt off after a few day so I brought it back. I was then told it needed a new transmission. THEN was told oh it just needed a transmission module update. And was told to give the car time so it’ll get used to your driving. Well… it’s still the same. I’ve brought it back 4 times and even involved headquarters. I went from a rav4 to a rav4. Extremely unhappy and will not be buying Toyota again. And I’ve owned Toyota for about 13 years now. More

Toyota of Scranton is a very inviting business to deal with. I happened to call and speak with Doug and he became my sales person. Everyone from the receptionist to the food service workers they were all with. I happened to call and speak with Doug and he became my sales person. Everyone from the receptionist to the food service workers they were all extremely curious, respectful, and a pleasure to interact with. Truly a professional dealership. I highly recommend them. More
