I've been working with General Motors as of August of 1979. Began my Career in the Janitorial and Prep side of the business at a Buick Dealership in Barrington, Illinois. I've worked my way up through the Body Shop, Quick Lube, Technician Apprenticeship, Parts Counter, Service Writer and then into Management of the Parts & Service Departments. Enjoying much success in all aspects of Dealership life. Even selling vehicles on days we had Special Events. In retrospect I've come to love what I do and the daily interactions with our Guests. Martin Chevrolet is a Dealership that has become my most prize position. We at Martin are a family, our every thought while providing "World Class Service" for our Guests is of compassion and that of solidarity for that purpose completely satisfying our them in every area of our Dealership.

Worst service department I have ever encountered. Rude, lazy, incompetent, and unprofessional at every opportunity. Called in advance to schedule a simple repair. First available appointment is always two weeks out. First appointment, did not have the part and kept me waiting over 4hrs just for a ride home. Second appointment, still didn't have the right parts, kept the vehicle all day and didn't even bother to call to update me. Third appointment, they forgot they had asked me to come in, made to wait, treated disrespectfully. After almost 3 months and 4 visits the vehicle still is not fixed. Anytime I call I am out on hold for a long period of time only to be brushed off and told to bring the vehicle in a few weeks. Worst service department. Worst customer service. Ralph and the other service writer are both completely rude and incompetent. More
