Thank you for your feedback. While I understand your frustration I will disagree with your statement. We were honest with you on what was found with your vehicle and made you aware of the transmission issue that potentially may need to be replaced due to fluid condition. Due to no shifting issues or codes in the system America Honda will not authorize replacement until those concerns are present. At a dealership level we have to abide by American Honda Guidelines. While it may be frustrating as it is for the dealership, that does not make us unprofessional, untrustworthy or insensitive. If that were the case we would not have made you aware of the issue. We truly value our customers and will always make them aware of concerns with their vehicles and will be their advocate with Honda as we did in your case but unfortunately Honda declined replacement at this time. Thanks for your response. I am not surprised that you disagreed with my statement, because I was the one who experienced the pain. However, it is interesting to learn from your note that Honda “denied” to replace the transmission. You didn’t mention that in the report that you gave me. You only mentioned that the van has no issues with the transmission now. This sounds more suspicious than I anticipated. I would certainly bring this up with Honda. In addition to the transmission problem, I noticed a damage to my windshield when I went to pick up my van. I immediately reported it to one of your employees, who politely said “come and talk to my manager tomorrow.” I went there the next day. The manager dismissed my claim and refused to offer any help. You had my van in your custody for three days and you failed to address the damage that happened in those days.
