When I heard your first voice message, I had my General Sales Manger, Jeff Arthur reach out to explain our policies. Talking to me, does not change your contractual obligations. We would love for you to return to the store for a full demonstration of all of the features on your new Volkswagen. I will gladly offer a full tank of fuel and a full vehicle detail, if you can provide the time during your visit. I assure you that I empower my employees. I had a good feeling I would receive a response through this public platform since the 2 weeks of calls, texts, and voicemails have gone unanswered. Even as I write this, I still wait for your phone call, if only as a courtesy, but I understand, you must be glued to dealer rater instead of your office. I don't know who Jeff Arthur is, so if he was to reach me, he has not. Since you seem to not have the full story and prefer this method of communication vs a phone call, allow me to inform you. I purchased on 11/5 and took delivery at 8:30pm, after hours. Since the vehicle was not even washed, I was offered to return back for a full detail, to apply the Zurich Shield sealer product, and for the inconvenience receive a full tank of gas (sounds familiar). On our drive home, we searched information on Zurich Shield since we felt pressured to purchase it and had a hard time finding a single good review. With buyers remorse, I called Jared Miller the very next morning. The lady that answered informed he would not be in until later and transferred me to his voicemail. Thank you for confirming your voicemail system does work, since Mr. Miller claimed he never got it. As I did not get a call back form him that following day, On Thursday I spoke with Michelle who confirmed that Mr. Miller could refund the Zurich Shield (and here is the kicker) because the sealant had not been applied yet. As I was unavailable that following week, I returned to your store on Sat, 11/16 at 4pm. Michelle was aware I was coming granted I did arrive about 40 min late. I needed to pickup an item I left in my trade-in, wanted to have the Zurich Shield refunded and have the car detailed and gas tank filled as promised. Mr. Miller's first reaction was to look up my account, find that I was financed through VW Credit, and then said, I can't do anything about it. I asked why VW Credit had anything to do with it and he just pushed me to speak with you as you were the only person with the power to correct this, but that I would have to wait until you returned to your office (when you return calls) on Monday. During the nearly 3 hours I waited at the dealer, with kids in tow, I asked about the feature questions I had and was told those were manufacture "misses". I asked about audible warning tones with lane keep and adjusting the sensitivity of the same system. They were also unable to get me connected with Car-Net stating an error with the email or VIN. When I finally got my car back from "detailing" the car was still wet, the interior windows still dirty with window decal smudges, and the particular spot on the outside that still had glue residue from manufacturer packing was still there. Basically, the car was vacuumed and the wash was reminiscent of a half broken gas station drive through car wash. Oh yeah, and gas tank wasn't filled either. Since I wasted half my Saturday, I just drove away. But wait, there is more. About your state of Florida and its contractual legalities and obligations. We can go there. Your side of the contract is incomplete as you have not applied the sealant to the vehicle as prescribed by the contract. But lets not stop there. I called Zurich Shield and spoke with Erica in the Warranty Department. As of 4pm EST on 11/21, Zurich Shield has not received the contract nor payment from you, Additionally, Erica in addition to another person in their Sales office clearly stated that without application of the sealant there IS no completed contract nor a warranty from them. So we seem to be in a bit of a pickle. You can do your part in Customer Service and refund the money or since I already made an empty promise drive to you, you can come to me and apply said sealer to complete your end of the contract as mandated by the State of Florida. I now eagerly look forward to your call.
