5TH Jetta Dating back 20 tears ago, Lakeland VW is my 4th dealership and by far the best deal I ever received. I met Mr. Trey Chapman (internet specialist) and Dating back 20 tears ago, Lakeland VW is my 4th dealership and by far the best deal I ever received. I met Mr. Trey Chapman (internet specialist) and he not only exceeded my expectations as far as professionalism, character and personality. I received a super great deal and saved more than I hoped I would. I also met Jared(General Mgr) and he is the first General Mgr I met out of all the dealerships I've done business with. So, I also thank him for a great deal. I believe Lakeland VW not only wants your business, they also want too give you trust, friendship and most of all a great deal. So, I think after this posting, I will get an even greater deal on my next VW. More

Horrible Experience. They treated me awful. I had called service office twice to ensure my appt and warranty work would be performed efficiently. Upon arrival they didnt even know why I was there. Then bein service office twice to ensure my appt and warranty work would be performed efficiently. Upon arrival they didnt even know why I was there. Then being lied to and refused to share information with me. On top of it all my car was damaged, so I immediately reported to the manager. That's correct no response. Overcharged me for the service I needed done and didnt care to explain it to me. Awful what happened VW More

Outstanding Dealership Experience I was very impressed with my experience at Lakeland VW. I actually have family in the car business in another part of the country and I'm used to gett I was very impressed with my experience at Lakeland VW. I actually have family in the car business in another part of the country and I'm used to getting taken care of very well when I purchase a car. If you're looking for a dealership that treats each customer like family then I highly recommend giving Lakeland VW and especially Corey Godden a chance to serve you. You won't be disappointed. More

Disappointed Very disappointed, I just bought my CERTIFIED 2017 VW 1 1/2 months ago and have already had to have the entire transmission replaced and when I came t Very disappointed, I just bought my CERTIFIED 2017 VW 1 1/2 months ago and have already had to have the entire transmission replaced and when I came to pick it up I was told that now the brakes have to be replaced. How can a dealership certify a car and and then tell the owner after 1 1/2 months that they need new brakes. That is terrible. We paid over $15k for this car and I really hope the dealership makes the right decision to replace the brakes at their expense and not mine. More

Good Price, Terrible Service I'll start with the good. Their price is really good (gave it a 5). But, be aware that although they will act like they negotiate, their online price I'll start with the good. Their price is really good (gave it a 5). But, be aware that although they will act like they negotiate, their online price seemed final as they wouldn't even budge on $500. Regardless, the price was good otherwise I won't have purchased. Here are my warnings. Don't expect to bring your money as they will require you to use their banks at their interest rates. I have excellent credit with a pre-approval from my bank and they didn't accept my bank's check, nor did they give me the VW advertised APR which requires you to have a 740 or above, which I do. This has required me to finance with them at a very high interest rate and now pay extra fees to refinance the loan back to my bank all so they can get a commission. But... I can live with that, it's business. Now, the reason I don't recommend them, and this is sad. The following morning (less than 12 hours after signing) I called Mr. Miller as I wanted to remove Zurich Shield protection. Other than paperwork the initial treatment has never been applied as I was instructed to come back to finalize it. I was transferred to his desk and left a voicemail. 24hr later and no response, I called my sales person. She knew I had to come back and get an item I left in my trade-in and said Mr. Miller can correct it when I come back since it was not finalized. I went back to the store and Mr. Miller blatantly refused to refund it because of who I financed with? But then said he didn't have the authority and that only Mr. Diveley, the GM could refund it. Instead of giving me his number or email or passing my info to Mr. Diveley, he just said to reach him on Monday. Luckily, I also received a letter from Mr. Diveley with his direct number and extension. After three days of being transferred to his voicemail and multiple conversations with the receptionist explaining my need to speak with him, I have yet to get a call back from Mr. Diveley. This is a simple problem that could have been very easily solved, but for a few hundred bucks in commission, poor administrative customer service, and lack of empowerment in their people, they now have a dissatisfied customer. Oh yeah, and they won't be much help with Car-Net or any other system questions, most of the people in the store don't know the features on the new VWs, they just know what their commissions are on the products. The service department part is the thing that kept me coming back for many years, but since the incarnation of this property becoming Lakeland VW, I've been impressed with the sales department. I started here in the late 90's when it was Robert G. Waters, then it went through two incarnations I don't need to talk about, then Lakeland VW. This place has been excellent from day one to me. I like everyone. My latest purchase was extremely easy and no guess work. It is a great place to deal with from purchase to service. Thanks again Lakeland VW. More
