For the last two years, service advisor Jeremy Sullivan has done his best to meet all of his customers’ needs. A lot of times, they tell him just how tough it is to take time away from their day to get an oil change or keep up with routine car maintenance. Beginning Monday, all that is going to change. Thanks to the new Happy Hours program, Don Ayres customers can take advantage of the less hectic evening hours to get their cars tuned up. “We decided to extend our hours,” Jeremy said. “A lot of our customers work during the day and this makes it easier for them to get their cars in. If we can make it any more convenient, then that’s what we’re here to do.” Outside of work, Sullivan has little time to rest. As the father of a one-year-old son, he says he’s almost always on the move.

Couldn't ask for much more Found 2 screws in one tire on a Saturday morning...not too many repair choices. Took it to Ayres and Jeremy looked at it and replacement was the only Found 2 screws in one tire on a Saturday morning...not too many repair choices. Took it to Ayres and Jeremy looked at it and replacement was the only possibility, i.e., not repairable. The whole set was evenly worn and on the last 1/3 of tread life so replacing only one tire wasn't an option. He got me a couple of quotes and I left telling him I wanted to think on it, the tire wasn't leaking as the screws had sealed I checked a couple of high quality sources that I have used over the years and found that the Ayers price was comparable to the other sources. I took it back in and dropped it off around 10am and had a complete 4 tire change over, with nitrogen fill, by 2:30 in the afternoon. The tires are great, they have been to Indianapolis and Ohio this week and ride perfect. The only thing I would like to have had was more information on the tires such as traction, road noise and tread wear ratings from real usage by real people, not test track stuff. More

My tire pressure light had been off and on for the past few weeks and I had stopped by one night at 5:45 to pick up my son (who dropped off his car for service) and Jeremy was not in. I was told to come back to check it the next day. I ended up calling Jeremy 2 days later (today) and was told to stop by. I was greeted by 2 guys to help me and they had the car back in 10 minutes at the most! They were friendly, humorous and very efficient. It is refreshing to deal with people who enjoy their job and are there to serve! Jeremy has helped me over the phone numerous times and is always very courteous and kind plus always seems to have an answer for the problem! More

Alot of the maintenance procedures aren't in my Honda Owner Manual and simply no mention of certain maintenance procedures from Honda themselves. I almost think they are made up by the dealer to gain extra revenue. Fuel Injection cleaner service? Power steering Flush? Stuff like that kind of erks me. I did go ahead with the Fuel injection service this one time only for the hell of it. Transmission fluid needs to be changed every 30,000 miles if you want the transmission to last. Buying a certified Honda Civic with 38,000 without it ever having transmission fluid change and Don Ayers telling me the fluid looks discolored and needs changed a month after I purchase the car doesn't sound real certified to me. I went and got the service because it needed changed before I even bought the car. Good practice is to change your transmission fluid every 30,000 miles or Sooner, every 12 months or 15,000 mile even better. More

30 Years of Satisfaction as a Don Ayres Honda owner I have owned a Honda ('04 Accord at present time) since 1984. The main reason for my satisfaction is the Service Department. He is the warmest and the most capable service technician I have ever encountered: knowledgeable, up-to-date training, professional, and personal. Doug Settle is master Service Manager, without a doubt the most competent person in my 30 years of experience. He expects excellent performance from his team. It is obvious that he is respected for his professional and personal interest in his employees and those whom he serves as customers. My deceased wife was an enthusiastic and satisfied customer and considered Dave Steenport to be the person we would miss the most if we ever relocated. Two of my three daughters are Don Ayres Honda owners -- one lives near Atlanta, and the other in Gurnee, IL. The latter receives all of her service on her Honda ('06) from Dave Steenport through Doug Settle. Service Departmnet Our son was in town and he had car problems. They worked his car in so it could get looked and repaired. They did a great job. The primary reason for this is that I know they have a great service department and they will take care of the cars while working around my schedule. Jeremy has done a great job of taking care of us.
