In fact, he sold our daughter her first ever new car just a couple months earlier so that speaks volumes about our feelings towards him. We felt zero pressure. We had put a deposit for a specific trim and color we wanted and were told in would be 3 months before it became available. In the meantime, he continued to try locate the model we wanted and delivered just a little over a month later with no dealer mark up for an extremely popular vehicle with difficult to find color and trim. Do not hesitate to go see Luis Martinez and Ventura Toyota! More

I had been dreading the car purchasing process. Part of my reluctance was due to my repetitively regretful experiences with my local dealership service center. My purchase at Ventura Toyota was a pleasant surprise. With new RAV4's hard to come by I took a look at their used stock. I found one to my liking (thank you Luis for the knowledge & test drive) and started the process. Jim McArdle handled the sale, including my trade in, in a professional and straightforward fashion. While there was not much in negotiations, there were a few points that Jim was very helpful in working through and making me feel good about the transaction. Being in sales myself I appreciated that he took my concerns to management to be worked out in a fair manor. While there was one minor hick-up in ordering a part, Jim quickly helped me get this corrected with the service department. When I talked to Jim on the phone to make an appointment I knew this would work. He was friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the specific car we were interested in. He knew the answers to my questions without having to put me on hold and look them up or ask someone else. When we arrived at the dealership we enjoyed the smoothest car buying process I've ever experienced in my 50 years of buying cars. The test drive let us confirm we definitely wanted the Camry. Jim gave us a brief demonstration of the cars technology and features. And the smooth transition to the paperwork was seamless. Jim has infinite patience to answer your questions although he will probably anticipate most of them. His guiding us through the whole process made the experience actually enjoyable. We had previously dealt with two other dealerships in the county and Jim is so far above the competition there is no comparison. Coincidently, my brother bought a new Toyota in Virginia recently. Jim is the GOAT. I really dislike dealing with typical sales tactics like bait and switch or pressure to buy add-ons right away so even though I loved the car I found I really dislike dealing with typical sales tactics like bait and switch or pressure to buy add-ons right away so even though I loved the car I found on their website I wasn’t thrilled about the car buying process. Luckily I ended up with Jim as our salesman. The car I wanted was still being built but I got to check out a similar model on the lot and Jim walked me through all the features and available add-ons. He wasn’t pushy or aggressive he simply explained the options and if I showed interest he’d dive deeper and answer every question. I appreciated the transparency and the fact that there were no hidden fees or forced add-ons. When a few issues came up on my end he was incredibly helpful and flexible. My car arrived on time in perfect condition and just as beautiful as I’d hoped. Jim helped sync it to my phone showed me how the controls and touchscreen worked and we took a quick test drive. He answered everything thoroughly. I wrapped up the paperwork with KP who was punctual, friendly and on top of it. He explained each document and even caught a mistake I’d made and let me know he’d already started the refund process which I really appreciated and it shows the integrity of Ventura Toyota. I’d absolutely 💯 recommend Jim at Ventura Toyota to anyone looking for a new or used car. More
