Lance has been with Subaru of Gwinnett since 2010. He was honored with the Salesman of the Year for Subaru of Gwinnett in 2012 and 2013. Also in 2012 and 2013, Lance was recognized by Subaru of America with the prestigious Subaru Summit Peak Performer. Lance continues to show is passion for Subaru by driving a 2019 Subaru Outback. When Lance is not working, he loves anything to do with the outdoors and hanging out with his family. He has been married for 12 years and has a 6 year old daughter, Emily, and a 9 year old son, Ethan. Lance's son was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, so he and his wife are strong autism advocates.

There are very pleasant and helpful and appreciated the follow-up scheduling. I would, however, find it helpful if Subaru America would provide a video or a usb thumb drive with instructions on the Solter follow-up scheduling. Do not walk, run from this dealer! Went to dealer and dealt with a sales person named Jody Vaughn. After negotiating the price on a new Crosstrek, my wife and I were presented a price Went to dealer and dealt with a sales person named Jody Vaughn. After negotiating the price on a new Crosstrek, my wife and I were presented a price in writing. The car had not arrived at the dealer yet, but a deposit would hold it. Neither myself or my wife had a check with us and we told Jody this. Not wanting to put a deposit on a credit card, we explained that we would either come back with a check or transfer money into another account and call back with a debit card. The day the car arrived at the dealer I called and spoke to Jody at which time I was told he would send me his “best price” on the vehicle. Thinking that it might be better than what I was already given I was ok with this. When I received the new quote, it was higher than what we had originally agreed to by $2100. I was told that this was a different car. It was not. He said he could not do the price he had put in writing. I then called and spoke to Lance Whillhite, the Sales Manager. He verbally agreed to 2K off but that was off of MSRP and not the out the door price which is what was on the quote we had from Jody. Lance Whillhite refused to honor the price and stated that Jody was “not very good at math” in a text to me. Lance also stated that Jody was a 20 year old young man and mistakes happen. Jody is not 20 and many years older than that. This was a blatant lie. This whole experience was frustrating and a waste of my time. Now obvious this was a bait and switch and game with numbers and discounts. I have all texts and quote to support what happened and what was stated. More

Jody Vaughn was delightful to work with in the purchase of my Ascent. I previously had a 2016 Outback that I totaled in a wreck. I decided that I wanted a larger vehicle and the Ascent was the obvious choi of my Ascent. I previously had a 2016 Outback that I totaled in a wreck. I decided that I wanted a larger vehicle and the Ascent was the obvious choice. I saw Jody in the poring rain, he had the vehicle by the door ready to go. All my questions were answered and even those I didn't know to ask. When I came to pick up my car the next day, he reviewed everything in the car with me (again in the poring rain). He set up my phone with Apple play and made sure I knew how everything worked for me. I highly recommend his professionalism and product knowledge. This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. More
