Life Is A Journey, Enjoy The Ride-With Dodd RV Yorktown My boyfriend and I went to Dodd RV of the Peninsula (Yorktown) to see a 1999 Winnebago Chieftain that we'd seen on their website and, upon arrival at My boyfriend and I went to Dodd RV of the Peninsula (Yorktown) to see a 1999 Winnebago Chieftain that we'd seen on their website and, upon arrival at the dealership, were directed to Greg, who was very friendly, patient, and willing to take all the time necessary to show us every RV that we wanted to see and that he thought might meet our criteria. When we stepped up into the Winnebago, it was love at first sight, and Greg did everything to make the sale right for me. In fact, I believe that we spent about 5 hours with him and had a great time! Greg introduced me to Arnold, who was really happy for me to be purchasing such a nice RV. That was 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to pick up the beautiful Winnebago, and make her ours. There is a wonderful feeling about walking into the dealership, and seeing your name on the board, where everyone who walks in can see it. A friend gave us a ride there, and Greg took us out to the Winnebago, so we could show it to him before he left. Then, Greg sat down with me and took care of the paperwork involved with the actual sale. When Greg finished his part, Arnold took over with the rest of the paperwork and explained everything to me along the way. Arnold then turned us over to Jene, in the Parts and Service Dept., who was very friendly, helpful, informative, and gave us their version of the Sears catalog along with a tour of the dept., explaining everything as we went through. When Jene was done, Pete took us out to my newly purchased Winnebago and proceeded to take us from front to back, side to side, top to bottom, inside and out, and spent about 4 hours showing us every function of every system, and how to operate everything. He was fun to work with, patient, and easily answered all of our questions. When an issue with the refrigerator and generator came up, Ricky jumped right in and got it resolved. After working with Pete, we went back to see Jene, to purchase the accessories we needed. We had a while before we could leave, because I had to wait for my insurance agent to put a policy together for the Winnebago and fax it to me. Everyone kept saying to stay as long as we needed and to make ourselves at home, and Linda was also very friendly and accommodating. I also met Mike, and he was as helpful and friendly as everyone else there. We couldn't have had a better team to work with, and I couldn't be a more satisfied customer. Actually, I don't really feel like a customer. I feel like part of the "Dodd RV Family". I didn't purchase a brand new $250,000.00 RV, but I was treated as if I had, through the entire process. If you're in the market for an RV, new or used, I suggest you get to Dodd RV of the Peninsula. That is, of course, if you're looking for no pressure, quality service in finding a quality RV. Make sure to read their motto and mission statement, located in their lobby. It's such a joy to work with a dealership that cares about people more than the bottom line. But that's where their vision pays off. In caring more about truly helping the people who come to Dodd RV, they probably make more RV sales than any other RV dealership around. The team at the Yorktown Dodd RV, is just that-a team. They all work together like a well-oiled machine. They all enjoy working with each other, and they make it very obvious that they love their jobs. How refreshing it has been to work with this great group of extraordinary individuals. The bottom line here is that I now own a beautiful 1999 Winnebago Chieftain (that I absolutely love!), and I love Dodd RV in Yorktown!! I can't say enough good things about how great they all are. I love you guys, and I'm a friend for life!!!! In the wise words of Yoda, Jedi Master, "There is no try. There is only do, or not do." You all "DO" exceptionally well!!! More

My buying Experience at Dodd RV Yorktown. This was not my first visit here,When we came in we were greeted as we entered and asked to speak with someone in sells.We met Greg nice guy told him This was not my first visit here,When we came in we were greeted as we entered and asked to speak with someone in sells.We met Greg nice guy told him we wanted to talk about a trade in or consignment on our RV,He listened and asked a few questions and we met Mike and the four of us talked about what we wanted to do and went from there.From the very beginning they were fair and straightforward with us about cost and pricing.Yep you got it we traded in our RV for a NEW 2016 Forest River 3 28 ft. The day we picked up we went through a very good walk through with Pete (So sorry about the boo boo!!!Rambo says she's sorry).Mike and Arnold are good people who are honest and fair straight shooters. NO B.S. More

Dodd RV got us "Cruisin' with a Crusader" My husband Jim and I did extensive research and went to many RV dealerships before stopping at Dodd RV to look at a Crusader 5th Wheel. Dodd RV is about a half hour away from our home and offered a warrenty for life on their products which is only offered at 2 dealerships in this state. We went to Dodd at least 3x to look and find out more info before we made a final decision. There was no pressure from anyone. We were allowed to take our time and look over each RV at our leisur . Our salesman, Scott, was very patient and always ready to answer our questions. He was wonderful to deal with, always answering phone calls or returning them, and keeping us informed about the ordering of our RV. Every employee we dealt with was very knowledgeable in their field and answered all our questions. Mike worked with Scott to get us a great deal and with ordering our RV as quickly as possible. Joey and Pete were super in the service dept. Pete did our walk thru from top to bottom and was a pleasure to work with. Cyndie, in parts, was very knowledgeable and nice to work with also. Linda always had a smile when we walked in and asking right away what she could get us if we had to wait. She had water and cookies ready! Overall we had a wonderful experience and left feeling like part of the Dodd RV Family. We would recommend Dodd RV to anyone! Thank you Dodd RV for having such wonderful, knowledgeable employees, from Jim and Kerry "Cruisin' with their Crusader"!! Arnold did our paperwork thoroughly and was a pleasure to work with. More

Everyone from Scott in Sales to Arnold in Financing were generous and considerate every step of the way. My vehicle was delivered in near-perfect condition - clean and with a full tank of fuel. The few "punch-list" items were turned over to Jene who managed the ordering of the replacement parts - and scheduling of the service work. Overall, this was a very satisfying experience and we will easily recommend Dodd RV of the Peninsula to our friends. More

Each time we go there we get treated as if we're buying the most expensive unit they have. Everyone we dealt with treated us with utmost respect and offered any assistance we might need. We bought a used unit this time and they cleaned it from top to bottom, painted all exterior bumpers etc, got it inspected for us, filled the propane tanks and put on 3 new tires. We've been to other dealers but never get the service that we do from Dodd. They really work as a team from sales to closer to the parts department. They all do their part and we are very appreciative of them. More

Everyone was super friendly & made you feel at home. They were extremely helpful answering all of our questions as first time RVers and shared additional information to enhance our experience. Pete our service technician was awesome in conducting the walk through of our unit, very detailed with an added sense of humor! We highly recommend this dealer who truly showed they cared as well as have quality products. More

As a customer, we felt like part of the Dodd Family. Owning an RV has been a dream for our family, as we knew we wanted to invest in memories for our children. We brought our entire crew along for the search, and were welcomed with open arms. We are a family of 6, and our children are 11, 5, 4, and 22 months. Tina was very knowledgable and showed us a wealth of bunkhouses that would fit our needs. She must have said at least 3 times that she loved her job, and it was certainly apparent. We choose an ultralight bunkhouse that was well within our towing capacity. While we worked out the details, our children were delighted by fresh baked cookies, a play area with a wealth of toys, and lots of attention from the receptionist. The sales manager was quick to greet us, and share in our joy. Arnold, the business manager, was simply delightful. He explained everything in a way that made sense, and made sure we were educated and comfortable throughout each step of the process. I have never met a business manager more invested in his customers! The day we we picked up the RV I was running late because I had to drop the children off at a babysitter after school. When I got there, Dan was doing our walk through, and was more than willing to explain things twice. He walked us through attaching and detaching the RV to the tow vehicle multiple times, and wasn't afraid to break a sweat in the process. (ours is manual) My husband and I also had the pleasure of meeting Jamie Dodd, who was one of the most personable and authentic owners I have ever met. He walked me down to the service center in the rain, and told my husband to call him if we needed recommendations of where to stay. Dodd RV made an experience we have dreamed about for a long time a complete joy, and we are so grateful we choose to be part of the Dodd RV family! More

You felt as if you are the most important person at Dodd. Very professional with good products. Time was set up for pickup and to learn how to use the equipment. Every aspect of the RV was gone over. Took my truck down to service and when everything was done at the office, I went down and the truck was hooked up to the truck. Dodd put on a new hitch as the old one was bent. They went over the new hitch in detail as it was somewhat different than the previous one. Everyone is extremely courteous. This is the second unit I bought from Dodd and would gladly go back for another unit if required. More
