I was completely crushed and dismayed with the service I received from Southern Team Nissan in regards to my 2015 Nissan Leaf. The brakes on my Leaf almost completely failed to work. Southern Team plugged t received from Southern Team Nissan in regards to my 2015 Nissan Leaf. The brakes on my Leaf almost completely failed to work. Southern Team plugged the car into their computer and it gave them a failure code. Just that simple procedure cost $249. Then they quoted me a repair cost of $6700.. They said the part to fix the brakes was $3000 and to install it was $3700. They would not even consider using a used part which could be purchased for $300 and would not recommend anyone in the area that might have the know how to work on an electric vehicle. I also reached out to Nissan corporation with a request for help or guidance in repairing the vehicle. They considered my request for several weeks, calling me every so often, but in the end declined to offer any help. Considering the car was worth only about $3000, it made no economic sense to spend $6700 for a repair. It was cheaper to simply buy another Leaf which is what I ended up doing. I elected to donate the 2015 Leaf to Habitat for Humanity. I had many wonderful people in the “Leaf community” on Facebook reach out to me and tell me where I could buy the used part and do the installation myself. However, having absolutely no mechanical experience and having reached a certain age where my body doesn’t perform quite as well as it used to, I knew this was not an option. Better to just accept the loss and donate to a good cause. More

I dropped by there on my unplanned day off to get an inspection on my 2nd car I purchased from them about 15 years ago. I was told if I could come back around 1:00 they could get me in.
