One of our best buying experiences ever I started my Subaru search with Gerald Subaru when I was still living in Boston and about to move to the Chicago area. My inquiries were acknowledged and my questions answered and I was never bombarded with daily or weekly emails offering me everything every day. Gerald was professional, and actually listed to and replied to what I asked, and did not flood me with useless information. Once we moved to Naperville It took seven months to actually venture into the dealership, but when we did we were greeted with enthusiasm and friendliness, and were not set upon as we had sometimes been with other dealerships. We were left free to roam about and open and inspect the cars on the floor, wander over the facility to see the service area, the comfortable waiting area, and other places. And as we did so we were greeted with smiles and hellos by all the staff there who were not actually serving other customers. When we finished our walkabout we were introduced to a dealer rep, and then to others in the system. And the representative we met was a perfect fit. And we finished up buying the perfect car. We worked with Paulo Rodriguez, and because of HIM we bought the top-of-the line car we did. The only other car we seriously considered was a different car at another local dealership (which I will not name). Walking inside we were really hustled around, and given to a rep who took us out for a test drive. It was a very nice car with everything we wanted, but he just tossed me the keys and told me to drive it. That part was OK, I guess, but I knew nothing about the car and its controls and its gadgets and safety systems, and my entire test drive was spent asking questions about everything, many answers of which he could not explain at all. But Paulo was different. We went out for a test drive -- and he drove for the first twenty or so minutes, explaining what every safety system did, what most of the controls did, and so on. By the time I drove it myself I actually knew what I was doing, and enjoyed the test drive because I actually felt that I was in control. Paulo never once looked at his watch, never once tried to get us back in the dealership, and never once tried a hard-sell tactic. Instead, he patiently guided us through just about everything. When we got back to the dealership he went through all the features again, guided me through all the answers to my questions. There was no haggling over a price: we knew we were getting a quality (and upscale) vehicle, and we worked to get to a price that I felt was reasonable for us to pay. After we took delivery a couple of days later, he again went out with me to make sure I was comfortable, and also told me that in case I had more questions he would always be available to meet with me (I did, and he was). At all times he treated us with the utmost respect, and I hope I treated him the same way. I really liked the dealership itself: clean beyond all expectations, and also a great selection of teas and coffees. Before I actually went to Gerald I often saw drivers in parking lots with Gerald Subaru stickers on their cars. Almost to a man or woman they had nothing but positive comments to say about the staff there, and about the dealership itself. As I wrote at the top: one of our best buying experiences ever. More

The dealership is very nice. Super clean...like the minimalist vibe. Nice amenities. Dennis and mike worked very well together. Leo Lo As a woman purchasing a vehicle on my own for the first time in all my years of driving - I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. Leo Lopez was my Salesman. He was transparent, extremely knowledgeable & paired me with a vehicle that was the right fit. I don't like all the new gadgets on the newer vehicles so did not all these functions presented to me, needed a car that would fit in my smaller garage & had a price range I had to stick to. He was not pushy, I felt NO pressure & he explained every function on the vehicle while on the test drive. Everything he presented to me was very clear. There were no surprises nor did I feel I was taken advantage of. Leo was understanding to my situation & quite the positive one. The whole atmosphere at this dealership was welcoming. Beautifully well kept establishment. I was repetitive with my some of questions & indecisive so I couldn't believe the amount of patience Leo & his managers had during this process. I'm extremely pleased with what they gave me on my trade-in, the managers Leo & Nino were pleasing to work with & purchased a great car at a great price. The Finance Manager, Anthony Mazany, was great to work with as well. Very friendly gentleman who explained each warranty option to me. He also made the finance part a smooth process to get me in & on my way with my new purchase! I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle at Gerald Subaru in Naperville. All around a great experience from this dealership. More

His conversations with Marie were easy and she communicated back quickly with him to set up an appointment. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted by Leo and Ehab and the vehicle we were interested in was available for us to test drive right away. Ehab was very attentive (but not pushy), he answered our questions honestly, and encouraged us to take our time inspecting the vehicle. He didn't dismiss our concerns about a few minor things we wanted checked out before we made a commitment and at one point he even got his hands dirty while helping the service technician. We walked into this dealership with some high expectations and the service here didn't disappoint. They truly wanted to work with us to make a deal on our vehicle, they were honest about the quality of our trade-in, and they listened to our concerns and respected our boundaries while we discussed the price point we wanted to stay at. Ehab worked tirelessly to meet our needs, even as our appointment extended past the closing hours. He was organized and communicated well with his managers and colleagues to help us get through our paperwork quickly once we made a deal. Thank you so much to the staff at this dealership.
