My coworkers and I don’t just sell cars, we build meaningful relationships with our customers. I have been the Honda sales manager at Don Ayres since November 1999 and before that I was in sales for 3 years. My father sold Honda's here for over 20 years, so it is really a family affair. I've been married to my beautiful wife Kara since 2004. We have 2 awesome children, Caleb and Savannah. We have lived in the Fort Wayne area all of our lives and enjoy going to Hamilton lake and spending time with family.

Buying this new car was a great and wonderful experience for us. The salesman, Ty, explained everything, and, along with Rick, the sales manager, found us the exact car we wanted, and had it ready on time. for us. I have great respect for the sales manager, Ty, the staff, business people and service staff as well as the check out ladies, and I have found all the personnel to be people of integrity, honesty, and friendliness. Once I purchase a car, I just bring it in for service and know that honesty, integrity, and concern for my personal safety while driving this new Pilot or our older Accord are parmount in the minds of all those with whom I do business. As the saying goes: "No one compares with Don Ayres." In 30 years, I have never even been in another dealer showroom. That is a blessing and a compliment to Don Ayres! And Honda vehicles are the best, in my opinion and experience. More

Everyone was very informative, explained everything well, were extremely nice. They knew what I was looking for in an automotible (features, accessories, comfort, gas mileage, looks, etc.). The salesperson I had dealt with for many years died in the past year. I have known the business manager, Rick Squires, for many years also. When I called about a new vehicle, Rick introduced me to Bill the past year. I have known the business manager, Rick Squires, for many years also. When I called about a new vehicle, Rick introduced me to Bill as my new contact at Ayres. Bill was excellent. He spent a good deal of time with me going over a new Odyssey. I made the decision to buy one. Rick was very helpful in finding a color I wanted. The price was very good and the dealership gave me top dollar for my trade-in. When I picked up the car, it was ready and in tip top condition. Financing was handled very professionally. Bill spent nearly an hour and a half going over the car before I left the dealership. This is the probably the ninth car purchased through Don Ayres. And once again, an excellent experience. Best ever place and people to get a car. More

Jarred H was friendly and helpful. He answered my questions and was polite. He did a great job of showing me cars and explaining the features. On the other hand Rick Squires was high strung and c questions and was polite. He did a great job of showing me cars and explaining the features. On the other hand Rick Squires was high strung and came across as rude. When I asked questions about the buying process, his tone was impatient, and condescending. The first thing my husband and another person said when meeting Rick was,"boy is he high strung." Many people have asked me about my Honda CRV, and I tell them how much I love the car, but probably would take my business elsewhere the next time. More

Insight EX - On the negative side was when I talked with Rick Squires I stated that I wanted the Clear Sky Blue Metallic in stock. When my wife and I arrived at 7:00p to complete the deal the car was not av Rick Squires I stated that I wanted the Clear Sky Blue Metallic in stock. When my wife and I arrived at 7:00p to complete the deal the car was not available. The other choices from stock was White or Silver. Rick Squires was able to locate a Crimson Pearl Insight EX. The online views and all car information shows it to be bright red but to our disappointment it is closer to Burgundy. It even looks dark on a sunny day. My wife and I are both disappointed but still enjoy the Insight. The sales person Shawn Baney drove the Crimson Insight inside to see it in bright light. (It was a cloudy day when we picked up the car). We have been Honda owners since 1982 and we love our three Hondas and plan on being Honda owners for life. Gene & Rosie Hanefeld More
