Hurts my heart to have trusted in what they said. It was like once it was sold, out of mind. Puck up date and time was set, the RV was not...so we waited. Drove home with half a working window, no heat or refer. Presently waiting for refer to be fixed. 6 hour wait for an appointment they set up. BTW, no lunch while he waits, told it would be an hour or so. If I had to do it again....I would tent camp! More

Friendly, efficient, professional, secure and all-around #1! We were in the middle of a transaction with another RV dealer in the area when a number of serious clerical errors and fraudulent banking practices de We were in the middle of a transaction with another RV dealer in the area when a number of serious clerical errors and fraudulent banking practices deterred us and left s in the lurch and looking for a new RV dealer to work with, PRONTO. Being on a time-deadline, we searched reviews and found Dodd RV to have incredible ratings. We were not disappointed! From the minute I walked in, everyone was welcoming and helpful. Scott Hudgens was my sales associate. I told him what we were looking for, and he directed me straight to available inventory that met our needs. We settled on a travel trailer with a bunkhouse; perfect for our family of 5 to camp in with our dog (and cat!) Knowing we were on a time deadline, he kindly introduced me that day to Arnold Smith, the finance manager, and we were able to move ahead quickly with financing and purchase. The process as incredibly smooth, and before the purchase we had an excellent and thorough walk-through with Ricky in the maintenance dept. He took a great deal of time to make sure I understood everything and how it worked. After the walk-thru, I went to the parts shop and purchased a few items. Ken helped us out as well, and delivered our RV to our site. He helped me get everything connected and hooked up initially. I wound up returning to the parts dept after about a week for more things. :) I would HIGHLY recommend a surge protector, the RHINO hoses, drop ins for the tanks and the hose buddy. At a BARE minimum. As I had questions later on, I was able to call Melissa in the Service Dept and ask her how to reset a fuse etc. Everyone has been very friendly, calling for follow up to make sure everything went smoothly. We love our new travel trailer from Dodd RV and couldn't be happier!! I highly recommend them to everyone I know, and have met already a number of other RV'ers who also love Dodd RV! If you are looking to purchase an RV of any type, Dodd RV will have your back every step of the way. More

This was our first RV buying experience and everyone we dealt with made us feel comfortable and welcome. We would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone considering the purchase of an RV. More

From the moment we walked in and were greeted with fresh baked cookies, to the moment we were walking out to drive our new camper away our experience was second to none. Tina and Mike in sales were great. Tina showed us a few campers that were suitable for our family's needs. She was very knowledgable about each unit she showed us. She was very funny and never tried to push anything on us. Mike in sales was also always more than willing to assist us when Tina was busy. Tina and Mike really made us feel like family. Dan (the new service guy), Joey, and Ricky in service did an excellent job on the walk through and took the time to make sure I knew how to operate everything. They literally took about 1.5 hours and and went over everything inside and out. We also left our truck with them so they could install our weight distribution and sway control hitch while we went inside to do paperwork, visit the accessory store, and eat a couple more cookies. Dan did most of the walk through with Joey and Ricky shadowing him because he was new. Dan did a great job. Our final part of our experience at Dodd RV on the Peninsula was with Arnold Smith in finance. He was very professional and good at his job because we swore up and down we were not going to buy an extended warranty. Trust me! Buy the five or six year, it's worth it. When we were finished inside and walked outside they had the hitch hooked up, camper hooked up and everything ready to go. They really do make you feel like part of the Dodd RV family throughout your entire experience. More

We did troubleshot over the phone. I was told to come in early the next morning and he was waiting for me. Aided by Ricky and Chief they quickly found the problem and replaced the pump. The last thing Joey said to me was call him and let him know everything was still ok on my trip. The customer service that I received was the best and withput hesitation I would recommend the service dept. More

I couldn't imagine a more excellent experience! I've purchased many homes, vehicles, timeshares, etc. in my lifetime and not one of them even come close to my experience at Dodd RV. From the minute I've purchased many homes, vehicles, timeshares, etc. in my lifetime and not one of them even come close to my experience at Dodd RV. From the minute I walked in the front door until the minute I left on my second and final visit for the purchase of my Travel Trailer, I was catered to, smiled at, educated and offered the BEST service ever. I wasn't treated like a potential sale, but as if I were a lifetime customer and friend. During the first setting with Scott last Saturday, he actually listened to my plans for what I wanted to do with the new Trailer, so when I came in today to finalize the purchase and go through the tour of the parts and service area, sit down with the finance guy, and even the walk-thru person, they were prepared to answer questions pertaining to MY intended use of the RV, not just standard RV answers to pacify me so they could move on to the next customer. I have a disability and was concerned about coming in for the final signing and then walk-thru of the RV before delivery. However, not to worry, they had stools and chairs at every turn for me and even had a special chair outside my Trailer so that I could sit and video the walk-thru, which Ricky moved for me around the Trailer as we went. Amazing! I could write a book about this dealership but I guess this isn't the right place. I can honestly say, I would refer anyone to these guys in a heartbeat. You won't regret it. More

We have been looking at travel trailers for over a year, and frequented several dealer in the State of Virginia. We found Dodd RV and met Greg, a courteous, low pressure, customer focused salesman. Greg asked us what we were looking for and a price point. After some discussion, he took us around the lot and showed us only what we were interested in. There was no,"I know this is what you said, but you need to see this" type of sales push. We were encouraged to look at each of them closely and more than once to be sure that construction, features and style were what we wanted. After we found the Travel Trailer that we determined met our style and needs, Greg took us to see Mike, and told him exactly what we had talked about. Mike sat down with us and went over price and financing options. We sealed the deal and are now the pound owners of a new A Prime Time Avenger 32fRES TT. A week later on a rainy Saturday, we arrived at the dealership to pick up the unit; Jamie had all the paper work ready to sign and made the process efficient and painless. Amanda gave us a great tour of the parts dept explaining what we would need and how Dodd RV wiould help us. After that we were brought out to the service area for our orientation. They moved our TT inside due to the weather. Ricky was ready for us and took us us through the trailer from hitch to bumper. He explained everything in great detail and answered all of our questions; my wife and I are very detail oriented were very surprised at the thoroughness of the orientation and level of service that Dodd and their stellar staff gave us from front to back. It was extremely pleasurable to deal with such a low pressure, family oriented group of professionals. More
