19 mi & 30 min Later saved $4207. 52. SOJAX was not our 1st stop but is now our Subaru dealer of choice. We did our research found several dealers with 150 mi and began our search 52. SOJAX was not our 1st stop but is now our Subaru dealer of choice. We did our research found several dealers with 150 mi and began our search with our original dealer we will refer to as #1. We were looking for 2 specific colors. Alpine Green and Lithium Red. #1 did not have either on the lot but since we had dealt with them before and ordered our 1st Crosstrek Sport from them we started there. We got an initial offer from #1 was told best price available and would have to order a vehicle. Off to SOJAX #2 on the list so we could see the actual colors Let's just say seeing the Vehicle Color's in person does not even compare to the Internet. We saw the Alpine Green 1st. Looked great but the Lithium Red was OUTSTANDING and sold the vehicle as far as we were concerned. ZERO pressure Salesperson THANKS Mark! He was quick to give us a preliminary offer that was 7.4% lower than what we were given at #1. Same vehicle same options/packages for a Crosstrek Wilderness. 1st trade offer from both #1 & SOJAX was not what we were looking for. 2nd offer from SOJAX was acceptable 5% more overall than offer #1 (do your research & hold your ground as long as you're not being stupid). The fees for purchasing from SOJAX were easy to decipher & overall 52% lower than #1. An item #1 was offering & wanting to charge us for was FREE from SOJAX and we didn't even ask about it. A discount from #1 was not offered by SOJAX but it was not anywhere close a deal killer with all the other savings we were receiving. As for warranties and service plans don't rush into taking or declining any. Do your research crunch #'s. #1 had their plan which for the cost would be worth it since it was offered technically free but if you had to pay for it would NOT be a good purchase for the price. What we did purchase from SOJAX after number crunching is an overall good buy for us. Ryan in Finance was great to deal with also. ZERO pressure. Had him go over the warranty items a few times to fully understand what they were. Again, do your research some of the costs can really drive up your payments. As for financing, financing thru Subaru we got same rate as going thru our credit union but for the term of loan did a little better. 1 less middleman in the way so to say. So bottom line SOJAX is our new Subaru dealer of choice. Touting a jingle from years ago "Drive a little, Save a lot." (that's for us older folks). Our 1st Crosstrek Sport was Awesome! On highway driving NO faster than 70, no load on vehicle (trailer, Roof Rack etc) 36MPG!! All convenience items are great and makes driving fun again for us older Boomers. We purchased the new Crosstrek Wilderness for the more ruggedness of the vehicle since we travel to mountains on a regular basis and the superior more enhanced safety features offered than on older Crosstrek models. Of course, time will tell how we really like the Wilderness, however on the drive home we felt safer and more comfortable. More
