First RV Purchase Made Easy We had been looking for travel trailers for several months and had decided on a floor plan, weight limit, and desired amenities. We found the trailer that met our needs at Dodd RV and I dropped in while in the area on business. We live about 3 hours away in the DC area so this was a shot in the dark. I found the model we had decided upon and was able to give it a once over before the salesman, Shane Slavnik, came by and introduced himself. I asked a few questions, asked for any other units that were similar, and told him my expectations. Never at any point did he apply the snake oil salesman pressure. He just provided his contact information and asked us to keep him in mind. The price was right, the knowledge of the unit by the salesman was excellent, and I never once felt pressure. When my wife had concerns about the look of the cushions, he immediately set about correcting that. When we told them that we wanted to finance on our own and register it in my state of record (I'm military), they had no issues. Throughout the pre-delivery inspection and acceptance, we were treated with respect and felt as though no other customer mattered. Shane, our salesman was knowledgeable and accommodating. Mary at the main desk was helpful and accommodating, Arnold in finance and closing did everything in the world he could to make the process as painless as possible. Tom in service walked me patiently through the trailer and explained everything and answered every question I had. Finally, Rod in parts gave me a great run-down on things I actually needed, and not just stuff that they wanted to sell me. The staff is amazing and could not have been more customer service oriented. For new RV buyers: Do your research. These folks were knowledgeable and fair, but you should always be prepared. That said, you could not do better with a with a first-time trailer/RV buy than going here. If you are realistic and knowledgeable, you will be amazed at the service you receive. Overall the only they could have done extra was to give me the trailer for free. Which I'm still open to guys! I just noticed that Rod in parts is not listed below: 5 STARS! More

It came down to cost and the 2016 fit our budget best. Shane Slavnik was our contact person. Shane was prompt and timely with response to my questions.and showed exceptional knowledge of the product he was selling. I never felt pressured. If the 2017 had fit our budget there would be no doubt we would purchase from Dodd RV. More

Service went out of their way to install MAXAIR vent covers before we left so I wouldn't have to make the 50 mile one way trip back later to get them installed. Initially we met Shane Slavnik, who listened to our wants and needs in a pull behind camper and never once tried to sell us something that was outside our budget. He regularly kept in touch with us and made us feel comfortable with our purchase. Mike McNeil truly is a wonderful manager who supports his team and his customers. He answered all of our questions ( and there were a lot) with patience and grace. Finally, we had the pleasure of working with Arnold Smith. He truly took the time with us on our day of closing and answered all financial questions we had. All we heard from Arnold was, "I am in no hurry. My time is your time". Camping and RVing is about family and time together. Dodd RV truly made us feel like family and we are forever grateful to their professionalism, kindness and respectfulness. We are proud to call these men our friends. More
