I have over thirty years of service here at Smythe Volvo. When I started here, I was pulling weeds, dumping oil buckets and doing general facility maintenance. Eventually I progressed from a Technician to a Master Technician, Service Advisor, Service Manager then Service Director. My favorite part of working here at Smythe Volvo is that we invest our business energy into safety. Over the years, we've had many customers who survived accidents because they were in a Volvo. Additionally, we've had many police officers who come in and bought a Volvo because they've been at the scene of an accident and seen how a Volvo saved a person's life. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, specifically going for walks with my three sons.

Going the extra mile(s) We recently purchased a new vehicle at Smythe and unfortunately have had a variety of smaller warranty covered issues. These were clearly manufacturer issues - nothing to do with Smythe - and yet, Smythe took full ownership of everything that had gone wrong and stood by us to make sure it got fixed and worked with us to restore our confidence in the Volvo brand. We were particularly impressed with Regina Krauza's help in organizing the repairs and taking care of us in the aftermath. Together with Sean Flanagan she not only took us seriously but managed to turn a potentially bad situation into a very good one: we are very happy customers in spite of the hiccups we experienced - thanks to Regina's hard work - and would return for another Volvo from Smythe. It would be very easy to see how without Regina and Smythe's attitude we could have been left with a very different feeling. More

Just as you would hope Volvo sales would be. We just picked up our new 2016 XC70. We are "Volvo people." Our last XC70 has 274000 miles and is still going strong. It is, for our purposes, an almo We just picked up our new 2016 XC70. We are "Volvo people." Our last XC70 has 274000 miles and is still going strong. It is, for our purposes, an almost perfect car. Not every Volvo dealer exhibits the characteristics that one associates with Volvo, but Smythe certainly does, and their local reputation bears that out. No games! No errors! No problems! I especially commend our salesperson Kristian Hendriksen and business manager Alex Kattwinkel. Both of them provided complete transparency and exhibited personal kindness and courtesy. The dealership facility has recently been upgraded and remodeled. As with many in the inner ring of Metro NY/NJ suburbs, it occupies a tight space, but it has been laid out very nicely for customer comfort and convenience. We are very pleased to give Smythe Volvo our highest recommendation. I have over 30 years of experience with Volvo, and Smythe is one of a handful of dealerships where the representation matches the product. Well done. More
