When I heard about the Maverick it really was a no-brainer to buy. On 6/16 I reserved one on Ford's site, which sent an email to my local dealer. It gave the internet sales guy's number to call, so no-brainer to buy. On 6/16 I reserved one on Ford's site, which sent an email to my local dealer. It gave the internet sales guy's number to call, so I did. He said he didn't know why I'd ever be able to reserve on Ford's site because he'd never heard of the model, and had no idea. I went home and watched videos, where Long McArthur had some neat ones. On 6/23 I physically went into the dealer where I was greeted as I got out of my car, and asked about it, and again they had no idea what it was, but told me the sales manager would call me in the morning. He did not. That night I saw a new video from Long McArthur, where they said that anyone, even out of state, could order from them and they could put in an order that day, and if I financed through them, they would pay shipping anywhere in the continental US. When I got to work on 6/24, I ordered from Long McArthur. Between 6/24 and now the world went to crap (more than it already was), gas prices skyrocketed, and the shipping deal turned into sharing the bill. That was more than fair. I would buy from Long McArthur again in a heartbeat. More
