Later in the day, Tom Coward called to tell me the car needed more (expensive) work, and he recommended that I not put more money into the car. I appreciated his candor. There was no question that my new car would be a Volvo and that I would purchase at Smythe. (We've been like family for almost 19 years.) Bob Cerza was friendly and patient as he guided me through the process. He explained my" lease or purchase" options. I decided that purchase was best for me. After brief discussion, we arrived at a fair price, and I became the owner of a '18 V90. Kevin Bergeron helped with some final details, then Bob spent "forever" familiarizing me with the features of the V90. I never felt rushed, and he invited me back if I had any further questions about the automobile. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with Smythe. More

Incredible Experience! I'd like to say a few words regarding Steve Badian and the rest of the Smythe Volvo family... my wife and I came to the dealership originally looking I'd like to say a few words regarding Steve Badian and the rest of the Smythe Volvo family... my wife and I came to the dealership originally looking at a pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokee that I found online. We're a big Jeep family and have been driving them for over twenty years. Anyway, the Jeep they had was everything we were looking for, except it was an 8 cylinder. I've had a few 8 cylinders and they are horrible on gas... Anyway, as we kept going back and forth on whether we should buy it, my wife proceeds to ask Steve if he has any pre-owned Volvos... the rest is history! Steve brought us upstairs and showed us the inventory - he had all the patience in the world. He knew the features we were looking for and showed us about a dozen different models. After several hours - and speaking with a few members of the Smythe Volvo family, we not only bought a fully loaded XC60, but an S60 as well! And we couldn't be happier... I am convinced we will be Volvo drivers for life! Thanks to Steve and the rest of the Smythe Volvo family for making our buying experience so wonderful! More

Fantastic Experiene purchasing a new car On the spur-of-the-moment we decided to trade-in our 2012 S80 for a new S90. Our S80 was in the shop at Smythe to have a bent rim repaired after an On the spur-of-the-moment we decided to trade-in our 2012 S80 for a new S90. Our S80 was in the shop at Smythe to have a bent rim repaired after an encounter with a pothole. We looked at the inventory on Smythe's website and called the sales department. Fortunately for us Deborah Amster answered our call and voila - in a couple of hours we had negotiated for a 2018 S90 Inscription model! Two days later in a snowstorm we returned to Smythe and Deborah delivered the car, She set up and explained all the bells and whistles to make the computerized car be as close as possible to the 2012 model. Happily we drove home. We had a few questions about the Apps and icons on the instrument panel which she explained over the phone. After a couple of weeks driving it, we returned to Smythe to have the plates put on and collect the title. She "fixed" the Sirius favorites, answered a few more questions and again we happily drove it home. Dealing with Deborah and Smythe was a pleasure. Easiest car purchase ever.. We;re in our mid/late 70's and this will probably be our last car. We may not purchase another, but look forward to having the excellent service department take care of everything. We've dealt with Smythe for more than 10 years and would not want to see another dealer. Thanks very much Deborah for making this purchase so easy. Frank & Linnea Ditchey More

It was quite a surprise when I was left alone to decide what I wanted to purchase. Every other car dealership we visited just pressured us and would not stop. When I purchase another Volvo, I wouldn’t think of any dealership but Smythe. It’s the best! The service is excellent and they always fix my problem and I never have had the same problem again. Volvo’s are very reliable but every once in awhile there may be a repair needed. I have always been treated very well. They explain the need for repair very well and always take care it in a timely and friendly manor. More
