"complete letdown"

1-1-15 I purchased a 2012 vw gli and I signed and purchased the car and came to pick it up and the rims had been painted and I was not informed. I bought the car because I loved the way it was and the rims had been black and chrome and when I arrived they were silver. the salesman and manager informed there were scratches so they decided to paid which they did not discuss with me. they would not replace the rims. furthermore the paint started peeling off and I brought back 3 times before they finally had them painted and baked on. better but still not what I paid and wanted. then I brought the car in to have them painted and my doors had been damaged so they sent to car to be repaired. I returned to get car and noticed when I got home that the doors did not match I have metallic black and the new paint was just black and was clearly noticeable and they would not send back to have it fixed they said I would have to deal with the auto body shop. now I had brought the car in a year ago for noise in my rear end and felt a sway I was informed they could not find an issue and now I have 2 scalloped tires and a broken coil spring which I'm being told is not covered under my warranty they sold me for $2500 and a tire warranty I paid $1500 for. when I asked for help they said why don't I just trade it in since I don't like it which I feel is not ok to say. I don't feel I have asked for a lot just what I paid for. also I feel the need to state the employees I've dealt with have been pretty nice but that does not fix my car.

"Exceptional Customer Service"

This review is definitely long overdue but my amazing experience with Colonial VW in Medford must be shared. I purchased my 2013 Tiguan, which I absolutely love, back in September. Just the other day I had to come in to the VW Medford for a flat tire and Service Advisor Jodi Fantasia not only fit me in to service the car on the spot, but also organized for my 40k maintenance and oil change. She could not have been more accommodating and helpful, especially given a stressful situation. I continue to be impressed and very appreciative of the whole VW Colonial Medford team. It’s so incredibly reassuring to know I’m being taken care of with top of the line customer service. Hands down, they are the best of the best. Thanks so much, guys!

"Terrible service and attitudes"

Advertise no appointment necessary but turn you away. Worse is that they are rude and treat their customers like they are an inconvenience from the moment you step in the door. Last time I ever go to this dealership for anything.

"I didn't fix my car but had a good interaction"

I have gone to Colonial for service since I bought my 2009 Passat there. Many repairs, most under warranty and I thought they were good and accomodating. Recently, I brought my car in for a "hesitation" issue, which was diagnosed as needing a new transmission. Too expensive to do on a 2009 car, however, Rusty treated me with real concern and provided good service in his interactions with me.

"Nightmarish Experience!"

This dealership is a disgrace to VW of America! The General Manager, Ken, is highly unskilled, very unprofessional, and incredibly disrespectful to his loyal and respectful customers. The Service Manager, Leo, gives some effort but fails miserably. One of the front desk service consultants, Tom, also tries but fails to have some customer service skills. If two of the main managers do not provide a good example for their employees, what is to be expected from this dealership? Enough said. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable VW Dealership that will treat you with the deserved respect and professionalism.

"Missing fluid "

I called Greg Cohen on Saturday afternoon when my light came on in my car about fluild being low in the engine. Greg advised me to bring my car in at 12n on Sunday when he would be at the dealership and would be glad to put the fluid into my car. I showed up at 12n and Greg couldn't have been more helpful. He put the fluid in my car within a matter of minutes. I couldn't have been more pleased.
