Travis Leonard, sales manager, took on the challenge of why my 2008 Amanti would go repeatedly for 3 months into "Limp mode" and check engine light activated. (A nearby KIA dealership reset the check engine sensor, but did not further investigate even after giving the recent history as to why this situation was reoccurring.) I was recently informed by 2 friends that there was a Certified Award Winning Service Technician at Montrose Kia that could fix any problem. They were correct!
The experience was so positive that it changed my mind from never buying a Kia again to considering a Kia the next time I am ready to purchase another vehicle. Kudos to Travis managing the work and the service technician #378 who completed the work.

I had been having problems with my front passenger seat since I bought my 2015 KIA Sorento (another dealership) - it would not move. It behaved as though it were broken. I was on a tight schedule, so I didn't schedule additional time to have my seat looked at - only the standard oil and filter change. I mentioned the problem with my seat to Alex, and told him I'd need to schedule an appointment to have it looked at - as this is what was told to me by a different Kia Dealership. Alex took a look at it to quickly assess if it was truly broken.
He put oil on the track the seat sits on, and with a great deal of pushing and pulling he was able to dislodge whatever was preventing it from moving.
I am so grateful that Alex took the extra time to assess the problem with my seat, and then actually fix it - saving me another trip.

I understand there is some time needed to get through the whole process of purchaseING a vehicle but the staff at the dealership was a ltitle slow in my opinion. On more then 1 occasion I told them that my father had to be at the doctors by a certain time and if it wasn't possible to get everything completed by a certain time then I would need to come back. They said it wouldn't be a problem, however they did end up taking longer to the point where my father was at least 10inure late. We had shown up that morning befoee they opened and was still late.

Had an awesome experience two weeks ago at the dealership in Toledo off central Ave. My lease was almost up and I had some serious mileage overage I was going to incur. I worked with Donnie P and I believe his name was Chris (one of the finance managers). Between the two of them they were able to work out an affordable payment plan to my liking and I walked out in a brand new car, and not having to stress anymore about my optima and the mileage overage. Even the last guy I singed all my paperwork with was awesome! I forget his name (he was an Asian gentleman) but we discussed golf almost the entire time and I was giving him golf pointers! All around great experience! All three guys were professional, personable, and a joy to work with! Keep up the good work!

We got approved three weeks ago for a vehicle drove off the lot happy to have a new vehicle only to get a call from the dealership saying the bank revoked your loan now we need the car back and the only other option you have is a used 2011 manual soul.....for $25 less then a brand new car payment.....are you kidding me....only wasted 12 hours of my familys time from the day we supposedly got approved and drove off the lot and the day we went to go see about a different vehicle not to mention we were told to just drive the vehicle back there and don't bring another vehicle because they will make sure that we got approved for something... Then we don't take that offer and get told we have to pay for an uber to get home.....I have to say I would not recommend this dealer to anyone ever I will take my business else where from now on ....very unhappy with how it all turned out and still out a vehicle.......

My wife wanted to buy a new car that was the exact same (color, trim, tech) as our ending lease. They were the only one within 300+ miles to have it, and Calvin made us feel comfortable going through the numbers. It's tough to feel like you got what you wanted out of a dealership, but we were both overall pleased with the experience and our purchase. Also, a no-cost 200,000 mile warranty is impossible to beat!
2014 Sorento motor install - Sweetpete
So here's my impression of the service department at Kia Spitzer West in Parma (Brookpark and State near 480). I drove my 2014 Sorento from Houston to Cleveland to visit family and friends and take a trip to Niagara Falls in Canada. About 1300 miles one way.
Upon arriving in Parma (8/4/16) I was at a stop light at Snow and Broadview when my temp gauge all of a sudden started to approach max temp! I turned on the heater to try to cool the engine down and the gauge returned to normal. I drove another 3 mins to my sister's house and shut down the motor. I did a cursory inspection and found no coolant leaks but I could smell radiator fluid. So, I made an appointment online at the closest Kia dealer since my Soto is under warranty and has ALWAYS been dealer maintained ever since I bought it new in Houston (DeMontrond Kia). I dropped it off on Friday morning (8/5/16). First impressions are important. I met with Lisa and she was super friendly and knowledgable. She told me upfront they were busy and would try to get the Soto looked at ASAP but I might not hear anything until Saturday (8/6/16) which I was ok with. I understand it was a last minute drop off and others were ahead of me in line. At least she told me up front.
Anyways, I get a call on Saturday afternoon. You won't believe this! My '14 Sorento with 41000 adult-driven, dealer maintained miles has a head gasket leak and needs a NEW MOTOR!!!!! Mind you, I'm from Houston, I'm heading to Canada on Tuesday (8/9/16) and heading back to Houston on 8/18/16!! Now I'm stressed!! I have no car and who knows how long a motor replacement will take? And what about my family's vacation?! Now what?!
This is where Lisa, Tony (master Kia mechanic) and the entire Spitzer Kia West team take the cake!!! First, they hook me up with a Dodge Ram rental from Enterprise Rentals. They cover the cost of the rental for as long as they have my Sorento and tell me just to enjoy my trip to Canada and they'll keep me in the loop as parts arrive and repairs begin. While in Canada, Lisa texted me a few times just to keep my informed (like she said she would) and that eased my stress greatly!
We returned from Canada on 8/12/16 and the Sorento still wasn't ready. But that's ok because we had the rental. Finally, on 8/16/16, Lisa called and said the Sorento was ready to go! I picked it up and we drove it back to Houston. 1300 miles later, we're safe and sound and back home. I can NOT believe the wonderful service I received from Lisa and Tony at Spitzer Kia!! If I'm ever in need of minor or major vehicle service and I'm in the Parma area, I will highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!!

I was searching for a 2016 Kia Sedona EX in Venetian Red within a 300 mile radius of Pittsburgh, PA (the specs we were looking for didn’t exist in the Pittsburgh area) and the lowest bottom line price was the biggest factor. I have bought cars out of state many times in the past for me and friends and family. Byers Kia, and Spencer Thompson specifically, went above and beyond to earn my business. Upon talking to Spencer, he advised the car in Byers inventory I had initially contacted him about was being sold as we were talking. But Spencer immediately offered to locate another car matching my specs for the same price. He arranged for it to be delivered to Byers Kia the next day. My wife and I drove from Pittsburgh the following day to pick it up. Spencer was very courteous and straightforward during the entire transaction. He had the car cleaned and ready to go when we got there first thing in the morning and arranged with Luke Flowers (the F&I guy) for all the paperwork to be ready so that we could be in and out as soon as possible. Luke was also a pleasure to deal with. Very low pressure on the extended warranty and gap insurance sales pitches. He offered one price for each and when I declined we moved on to the rest of the paperwork. We were in and out in 90 minutes. I highly recommend Byers Kia and Spencer Thompson.
TEST DRIVE - crappy deal
Female with 2 kids went to test drive a Rio. The salesman, jumped on us before we even got out of the car. I provided my license and asked to drive a Rio before I do anything else I want to know if the car was right for me.He said " ok, let me talk to my manager. We waited 5 minutes and he returned. He said they do not have any Rio's to drive, they sell quick!. Maybe we'll get some in. He dismissed me and we left with no offer of driving anything.
I then called Doraty Kia 5 minutes later and was told by a different salesman that they have the cars in stock, no problem. I did call the manager and vented my anger and frustration.
A perfect case of judging a buyer by appearance.

Got a car and it still has the 30 day tags on it and I already have lights going off on my dash. They lied about how many times they would run our credit and then when we asked about it Mike the finance manager was very cocky and rude and spoke to me as if I were an idiot for listening to lawyers and finance professionals about dings on credit scores. I regret getting my car from them so unprofessional.

I had been researching cars, both new and used for a couple weeks and came across this dealership. I found two used cars that I was interested in and made contact through one of car price internet sites. They responded to me of the "internet price" and wanted to know when I could come in. I am still undecided and had contacted several dealers and asked them for an "out the door" price for the vehicle including tax, title, destination and any other charges. Several other dealers had provided such a price to me. Not this dealership. Their response to my query was: "we need you to come in and discuss possible options before we can give you such a price." Right then, I emailed them back and told them that since other dealers were providing me the information I requested without me going in, I was going to take my business elsewhere since I don't like dealers that try to wheel and deal you in person with "options." Too bad, because one of their cars were in my top 3.
trade in not paid off in timely manner - Pissed off and never returning customer
The car salesman was great and I left the dealer and told family members that I would highly recommend this dealer. I have now had the car for 45 days and they still haven't paid off the car that I traded in. I am getting harassing calls from GM at home and work. I have called this dealer several times and hear the same thing over and over. We will have a check overnighted and this will all be taken care of. I will never return to this dealer and I do not recommend it to anyone. They need to get their finance department straightened out and stop giving me the run around.
