So it came time to buy a new car and I thought since Hamden Chevrolet was right up the road I’d see what they had. I looked online at the cars they had and set up an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by Andy, he asked a few questions and before I knew it he had the car I was interested in pulled up and said let’s go on a drive and see if it fits your needs. After the test drive we talked numbers and felt no pressure to buy which helped me decided to buy the car. Talked to Andy as we signed paperwork, what a great guy. After finished with Andy went off to finance department, as I was sitting there Andy came to check on me and said to me the finance guy is trying to get me the best option and not to worry they are working for me. That really stood out to me, normally buying a car the dealership was trying to get max profit I didn’t feel that at this dealership. Then I was greeted by the finance guy Arin who told me he has been trying to find me the best financing through all the different financial institutions. While waiting in the lounge I noticed him in his office on and off the phone and typing like a mad man so I did feel he was truly trying to meet my financial needs. Arin and I went over all my options and suggested what he thought would work for me. Together we figured it out and signed paperwork while cracking jokes then we were done. This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership from start to finish just amazing. I truly appreciate the time these guys put into making this an amazing experience. And the next day Andy called me to make sure everything was ok. Thank you so much for making my new ride truly special.

Lack of Communication and Customer Service – NOT @ Blasius GMC After having a bad experience at a local used car dealership, I was kind of skeptical about going to another used car dealership. However, following an online search, I discovered Blasius GMC had the Mercedes E300 I was searching for. Mr. Gene Footman, reached out to me that Friday morning to set up a test drive the following day. Gene exemplified what customer service in yesteryears used to be; Gene was not pressured to make the sale, he communicated effectively and was transparent throughout the entire process. I commend Gene on his attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills, which are rare today. Now unto Mr. Chris Prevosk, a veteran business manager. Chris was great, finding me the best financing deal selling me the extended services I needed, and not overcomplicating the process. Chris’s comical sense of humor and meticulous attention to detail made the transaction effortless and seamless. After 1 week, my wife and I are extremely happy with our purchase and hope to do business again at GMC Blasius. Communication and customer service are not dead, especially at Blasius GMC. Devan Petit was the person who took care of my car April 4, 2025. The job was brakes and oil housing leak. The brakes were easy bu the oil leak was a rather difficult job. My car wasn't going to get done and it was the weekend. Lia was out of loaner cars. But Devan went above and beyond to get me a loaner car, so I wouldn't be without a car for the weekend. My car was ready to go on Monday. I have used Lia VW of Enfield for all my car care needs and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this dealership.

I had a great experience here buying my 2025 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport. Troy Conlin in Sales and manager Michael Loper at Lia Honda made the process efficient and basically painless. They were both professional and easy to work with, and I did not feel any sketchy vibes or anything else that made me uncomfortable. I walked out feeling satisfied that we reached a pretty good deal. So far, I have no complaints.

I went in to purchase a 2023 Santa cruz because I needed a truck bed. Chris Antone, who I've bought vehicles from before just happened to be working here and I immediately knew I was in good hands. He was patient, honest, and transparent with the cost questions I had. I ended up going with a 2022 Nissan titan with 25,000 miles. it was on the lot, the price was similar and they gave me a great deal. They discounted the price additionally despite the initial cost already being below the market. The warranty options were very flexible and I was able to cover the entire vehicle for 60,000 additional miles at a very low price. They have a great operation at this dealership. We're excited to use the service department and hope to trade in our palisade in 18 months.

Helpful right from the start and very friendly. Kevin (Sales) initially helped me about my car’s problem emergently and discerned I needed to return the next day. Came in as he directed, and David D provided critical info about my needed repair from a Master Certified Mechanic - I met Jim Nolan and we realized he knew our previous mechanic very well who had worked at Perkins years ago!- and then got me another Outback as a loaner. That was great! Took some time for the part needed and I had the loaner for a week! Repair made and David got it covered under our extended warranty and apparently the problem was also a recall issue. The waiting room was spacious, comfortable and I loved my cappuccino ! Kevin saw me again as I was waiting and asked what had ultimately happened with the car and actually remembered my name. David kept me apprised of the repair progress and could not have been nicer. My husband and I used Perkins 20 yrs ago and followed our mechanic there from Perkins to Premier to Reynolds in Old Lyme btw. A delightful experience all in all. We will likely come back again for service as we have 2 Outback’s and know Jim Nolan is there in Service now. Everyone including your phone agents too are friendly and helpful- everyone!
