I called early last week, spoke to the service department, asked if parking sensors could be added to my Ridgeline, and if so, what the cost would be. I was told that the parts department would give me that information, so I was transferred there. They confirmed that they can be installed, told me the parts cost would be $287. I asked for the total cost, I was told the service department would provide that, so I was transferred back to the service department. The advisor there said $550 for everything, so I asked them to place the order, and I was told that the parts department would have to do that. I never was called, so I called and they got me scheduled. I arrived before the scheduled time, asked for a ride home, and I was told that the person that does that, had not arrived yet. No problem, since it was a little before 8AM. By 8:30, I was told that the person who does the shuttle, was at the dentist, and it would most likely be another half hour. I conveyed I had meetings to attend and stuff to do for work, and half an hour later, another person came to give me a ride. At 11AM, the service department calls me, to ensure I am on the same page for labor, and I was informed just the labor would be $687. That combined with the parts cost, would be around $1050 with tax, double what I was quoted, which is not in my budget. I told my advisor that when I called, I repeatedly asked for the total cost, so he went to his manager, and they decided to honor the $550. A couple hours after that call, I was called again by the service department, informed that all of the parts were not ordered for the parking sensors, and as a result, it will be the next day before it’s ready. I called at the end of the next day, spoke with my advisor, and I was told “due to the after market sound system, they’ve had issues getting the sensors installed, and if they would have known that, they would have charged more for the job.” I asked why, and he said that the sensor system has to be wired into the speakers of the truck, so the audible tone can be played on the speakers. If someone had taken the time to explain the install process, when I initially called, I would have been more than happy to convey about the speakers. Fast forward to picking up my vehicle, I get a different service advisor, and he told me that the cost is $941. I explained once again, that I had called and repeatedly asked for the total cost, to which he informed me that was the labor only, so he brought the “manager” over, who I believe is Edward Thomson. He explained that he was the original person I spoke with, and the $550 is only labor. I then asked, “so, if someone calls and asks for the total cost on something, there is no one at this dealership that a customer can talk to, to get this information?”, to which he replied “no.” He sat at his computer for a few minutes, then said “with a 10% discount, your total is $860”. I explained once again that when I called to ask for the total cost, I was told it was $550, and then when Sky called and I explained the same thing, $550 was the answer. I explained to Edward that there was far too much miscommunication that happened, the experience was not ideal by any means, to which he scoffed and sneered, then said, “clearly….on both sides….”. I was so frustrated at this point, I told him he has two options: 1 - I pay $550 total and I leave, or 2 - he can take the system out and replace the back bumper, since it now has holes in it. He grumbled a little bit, then got the total invoice price down to $547. On the All Star Honda website, it states the following, in the About Us section; “We live by the golden rule at All Star Honda Abilene and we treat everyone who visits us in the Merkel, San Angelo, Clyde and Baird area exactly how we would want to be treated. Had an oil change on June 4, 2024. Started seeing fluid on the ground whenever I parked the vehicle. Had my husband look at it and discovered oil was leaking on the ground. Tried to get service appt this past Fri and Sat but the message stated the service dept was closed. Needless to say I had to get the vehicle checked out and found out the the gasket was not tightened after the last oil change. Had to get a new oil change and thank goodness for that dealership’s expertise in analyzing and fixing the careless error of Tejas service department. Will never go back to Tejas now renamed Space City! Very costly error

So I brought my car in to Jerry’s just to get checked out for a couple things like new windshield wipers, check my brakes, and check my transmission, and check my mirrors that move on their own against my settings. Now they had my car for a couple days, talked me into a new battery… okay fine. Most things are covered under my extended warranty purchase. But here’s the problem. My car left in worse shape than when I brought it in. The check engine light has come on twice now and won’t go off. The rear air conditioning no longer works and my mirrors are still moving on their own no matter what my settings are. They also overcharged me and still haven’t seen payment back for it. I have called multiple times only to be disconnected or get a voicemail. I sent a text which was not responded to until I sent a few more. Was told someone would be calling me about setting up a rental vehicle but still haven’t heard from anyone. Seeing as this company is the one who messed up my car you would think I’d be more of a top priority to fix their mistakes. I’ve got 4 kids and driving around in 100 degree weather with them baking in the backseat is not okay.

I have been driving Hondas for almost 27 years. I'm aware of mechanical issues that can happen, regular maintenance that should be done, etc. I had never used this dealership until recently. I acquired an old Pilot, and decided to try them out with an oil change. From previous experiences, I won't go anywhere else for that service, but a Honda dealership. I get treated just like any other customer, even though my car isn't as shiny and new. I like the inspections and reminders they go over for service. It's not a hard sell, like you might find with other convenient places. Connor and Greg B. have been most helpful with all my questions and service needs. Both were informative on how I can save on some needed maintenance. Both went out of their way--Conner with providing me carfax to determine current service needs and quotes, and Greg going above and beyond with loaner options, and his service, and ideas to save money. The dealership was busy both times those men helped me, and they were patient and kind, never rushed me, nor did they exhibit anything other than superior service. Thank you!!!!

Pulled into the honda dealership, due to my one of my headlights was out. My husband changed the bulb but it still wasn’t working. I tried stopping at at a service station however they told me I would have to take it to the dealership. I went to the dealership and Dalton Grasmick was who I spoke to, he got me right in and had it fixed within 5 minutes. I asked for his card. I was so impressed with his demeanor and his willing to help. I cannot give high enough ratings for the excellent service that I received from the sales team. I first spoke with Jasen Vann on the phone, and he was very professional and explained pricing and extras and answered all the questions I had. I asked him for a quote on the vehicle that I had chosen online, and he sent it right away. Right after this, I had an unpleasant experience with another Nissan dealership. The salesperson from that group sent me a quote, and I went to the dealership planning to purchase it. Their sales manager would not honor the quote that the salesman had given me. He would not even look at it. So I called Jasen back and told him what had happened. He put his sales manager, Alfonso Gutierrez on the phone, and Mr. Gutierrez assured me that he would honor the quote and that Mossy did not treat customers that way. I had previously worked for a company that leased cars from Mossy, and we always had excellent service and relationships with them. So I went to Mossy, met with Jasen, and closed the deal on the same day. All the employees made me feel very comfortable; there was no hard sell. It was a very pleasant experience, and now whenever I plan to purchase a car, either new or used, Mossy is the first place I will go, and I will recommend the dealership highly to anyone looking for a new car. Jasen continues to be in touch with me via e-mail to let me know opportunities that I have with Mossy Nissan. I couldn't give a better review. I had a problem with my coolant kept leaking I called 8 times no one called me back! I had to go up there and go off. Now I have a problem to where my windshield wiper felt completely off and they said it would be ready Tuesday now its been a whole week. I had to called them over and over and still nothing. I do not recommend this dealer at all to no one they will give you the run around! All they care about is money they don't give a xxxx about making sure you are satisfied and taking care of as a customer should be. I am fed up and ready to drop this car off and leave it because u can't even get a call back from nobody at all. PLEASE DON'T COME HERE AT ALL!!! Go somewhere else they will have you sitting for hours it's ridiculous. When u call they put u on hold and never come back to the phone. If I can give them a 0 I would I don't care how good they cars look it's not worth it at all

Horrible experience. Too many words to put me full take, but here are the basics: Car only had one key fob. Not to be too unexpected for a used car, but when you're doing a sight-unseen deal that's kind of a big thing to let the customer know up front. These keys are $500 to replace/program at Chevrolet. And on top of that, the one key was not in good shape. It was really dirty/sticky and was weak. Had to replace the battery and wipe it down significantly with a wet wipe and yet it's still sticky to the touch. This was a smoker's car. Immediately upon sitting in the vehicle it's clear as day this car smelled like it was smoked in pretty profusely. Now again when you have a sight-unseen deal, it would be kind of important for a customer to know that, especially for a non-smoker like myself with allergy issues. The OBD cable was hanging on the floor, in fact I stepped on it when getting in the car. Upon further inspection I found some kind of tracking device was plugged into it ended up having a pull that out and remounted the OBD port. Cap was missing off the washer fluid reservoir in the washer fluid was not spraying indicating it was empty. Upon filling the windshield washer reservoir, it confirmed the sprayer motor was functional but immediately all the washer fluid started spewing all over the ground. Indicating a massive leak somewhere. Upon letting it sit a period of time; I found that the oil, though changed, was overfilled a least a quart. The Engine air filter was changed, but the air box was not properly re-mounted back into the holdings and intake inlet, leaving it bouncing around loose in the bay and xxxxxxx in hot air. Next up, drove the car home and the AC barely worked. Then the next day on the way to work it went completely out on me mid drive. And would not reengage. Initial mechanical assessments indicate there's a leak, and not a fresh one. It seems that most likely what occurred was when they were doing the UCI they charged it up quickly to get it down the road knowing it would eventually leak out. So there's another repair. And we're about to hit a massive heat Wave here as I'm typing this here in Texas and I have no air conditioner. Then a check engine light came on, based on my mechanic’s scan, something's wrong with the thermostat/cooling system. I'm sure that's not a fresh issue either. Probably cleared the codes before selling a car. Lastly though A minor thing, car is pulling to the right. Indicating a need for an alignment. So bottom line, I now find myself in an unexpected money pit. This car was listed as very clean for the mileage and I paid top dollar for the condition fair retail range for it not to have these glaring mechanical issues. I texted my sales Rep about all this and initially was met with what happened/caring attitude, but that quickly shifted to insisting that I drive the car 3 hours to Huntsville to have it looked at. Now let's break this down: why would I have it shipped in to me in the first place instead of driving down there if I wasn't in a position to drive down there initially? The truth is I work 6 days a week, so I don’t have time, that's why I took this deal in the first place so far away because they offered free shipping to me. I just bought this car, so I didn't mess it up or break it. I don't know if this is too harsh to say, but it's pretty tone-deaf when you're fully aware your customer had the car purchased and shipped sight-unseen for a legit reasons and would have to take a vacation day, losing money and risk driving a broken car 200 miles/3 hours to your dealership because your UCI department didn't do their job, and the good condition of the car was overselled. They couldn't get it right the first time, how am I to trust they would get it right the second time let alone in the limited time frame available to get the parts and fix everything during a single workday? This is not how you take care of your customers facing a situation like this.

I have been a loyal customer of this dealership for years. I am financing two vehicles now. I wanted a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder and was able to get one October 2016. I have been back and forth to the service department five times since Memorial Day 2024. I cannot sit at a traffic light or a drive thru without vehicle running hot. The last time it was in service department was Aug. 16, 2024 and a week later it is back with a final diagnosis of needing a radiator fan at a cost of $725. When I got the vehicle it was supposed to be under three year warranty. With these service department trips, I have been told over and over that the warranty doesn't cover work this vehicle needs. I am feeling so messed over.
