First- I’m the guy that buys a used Mazda 3 from a Ford dealership. Guru found me a sweet unicorn of a maz 3 6 speed hatch and I couldn’t reach out fast enough. Tyler answered my txt on his day off from his house. He was quick to shoot me over a video description and any details the next day. The process was seamless- and living over 4 hours away, the dealership had staff deliver it to my house (very lovely couple btw). Every story has its negative, so the low down was a a few things came with the vehicle that weren’t described. Mind you, these are hazards of buying a vehicle remotely. Regardless, after a months worth of playing phone tag and communication issues with schedules, the owner of the dealership reached out to talk to me about any issues I have had. This example shows how deep James River Ford really cares about discussing any issues or making anything right that a customer might have. Within 12 hours of the owner calling me, any issues were mitigated. This place really puts the customer first- because they understand for most people a vehicle purchase is a gigantic financial step. Please give this dealership 3,4, maybe even 5 looks at every car they have. Whichever you choose know that they will make sure your taken care of regardless of any issues or preferences you have. Thanks again James river - my experience with you and your dealership made an impact when you went the extra mile to be impactful to a customer. I will be buying a 3/4 ton truck in the next few years and I will absolutely drive 4 hours to get one from them!

Dakota was great! He got me everything I wanted. He was so friendly and nice, never pushy. He walked me through all the features of my car and made sure I knew how to use them. Very knowledgeable with the Bronco. He was patient as it took awhile for us to be sure of what we wanted! Waldo was also amazing, he was professional and friendly. They both made the process painless and quick! So appreciate you both.

I called to inquire about an older vehicle and I was pleased that Sakelaris was willing to work with us even though what we are looking for is older vehicle. I would certainly give them a chance and we would have to do a considerable drive as we live in Kansas. Thank you for your patience and help. It's so appreciated they weren't just concerned about selling us a car but we're concerned about what we needed.

Both times they tried to steal our trade in and both times we walked! Each time they said good luck getting better deal! Both times we went elsewhere and I received over $3000 more for my trades! Unbelievable experience! Then when you say something to them they have a million excuses!

I PURCHASED A CAR FROM THERE BROUGHT IT BACK WITH COUNTLESS REPAIR ISSUES, THEN MY CAR BLEW UP AND HAD TO BE TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. TOOK THEM OVER 3 MONTHS TO FIX IT AND THEN WANTS TO CHARGE MORE FOR MORE PARTS, SAYING IT ISN'T UNDER WARRANTY. MY SALES PERSON WAS GREAT BUT HAS NOW SAYING NOTHING HE CAN DO. BUT THE MANAGER OF THE DEALERSHIP AFTER I HAD TO KEEP BRINGING MY VECHICLE BACK SEVERALY TIMES RUDE HATEFUL AND REFUSED TO TAKE CARE OF MY ISSUES UNTIL IT BLEW UP. I will never go here again and advise people to find an honest place to buy or maintain a vehicle. This dealer just tried to cheat me big time. I asked for a tune up on my onan 4000 motorhome generator last year and they said they did a carburator tune up and charged me for the work and $120+ for the kit and $278 to do the job. The motorhome sat all winter and was running rough so took it back for what it needs. This yr they said they don't rebuild those and a new carburator is $900+ and $500+ to change it - they said they checked around and that was the cheapest price I looked up the carburator and it is $400 at Onan and less than $100 elsewhere. I told them we will just pick it up. I told them when picking up that I looked up the carburator and the prices I found. They said oh I will look into it and get back to you. I then asked why he said they don't rebuild them as they charged me to do just that last year. He blubbered that he will look into it. Well 2 weeks later, no call. I looked up the problem of it running rough and saw that you can run SeaFoam through it to get rid of the junk from sitting all winter. I did that and it is running like a kitten now. I question if they did anything last year when they charged me $278 to give it a tune up. I also don't understand why they don't know to run the Seafoam through it to clean it out. So they tried to charge me $1600 to put a new carburator in my motorhome generator with 127 hours on it when it only needed cleaned out. Not sure they did anything for $278 last year. I would discourage people from trusting the dealership for anything. I will never buy a vehicle or take anything to them for service again.
