First BMW I have owned and first visit. Went in for basic service. Autohaus shared a video of service recommendations showing the actual parts, etc so you know it was legitimate. I take my cars to Autohaus BMW for maintenance as needed. I have always received top notch customer service until this particular visit. The service representative (Mike C.) from the start treated me like I I have always received top notch customer service until this particular visit. The service representative (Mike C.) from the start treated me like I didn't belong there. I usually am dressed for work in suits when I visit Autohaus. This particular time was on my day off and I had on a t-shirt and sweatpants. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with the level of customer service, but this is the only variable that I can say was different about this particular visit. As an African American man, I try to stay conscious to everyday coincidences versus actual prejudices. Mike was not very engaged in listening to my concerns about my vehicle. I had to remind him several times about certain issues and he still never addressed those concerns. Needless to say, the repairs and service that I authorized them to do were done very well. Kudos to the mechanics. All in all, my service was done in a couple of days, although they were out of loaner vehicles which caused quite an inconvenience. But I know those things happen. Also, my car was retrieved with no working driver side headlight and it appeared no where in the report. I would absolutely go back to Autohaus because I believe that this was a one off bad experience. The service advisors are usually A-1 in customer service. Not this time!!! Maybe next time Autohaus. I have faith in you. More
