Initially, I was not going to write a review. However, since BMW sent me the links asking me to write a review, I decided to write. After having driven 1 brand new Lexus and 2 brand new BMWs, However, since BMW sent me the links asking me to write a review, I decided to write. After having driven 1 brand new Lexus and 2 brand new BMWs, I decided to buy Certified Pre-owned BMW after a teenager totaled my car. Wow, buying pre-owned car was thousand miles far from buying a brand new car. To my surprise, a salesman from MINI, showed me the car at BMW Darien office. As I test drove the car from BMW office to MINI where he worked, he told me that he was not very familiar about BMW. But I thought it was ok since I can ask help from BMW Genius when I pick up the car. On Saturday when I ask him to have a BMW Genius present when I pick up the car, he said he can show me the functions as Genius does not work on Saturday. I was not comfortable with him, as I remembered him saying he was not very familiar with BMW. It was, however, ok since I have manual and can also go to YouTube tutorials about my car. The most unpleasant experience happened on the day when I picked up the car. The car was completely covered with dust and pollen. He did not even bother to hose the dust. Then he handed me the BMW key fob with MINI ring, not that of the BMW. Luckily, I had new extra key fob rings from the previous purchases. As I was about to drive off, he handed me the digital key from his pocket, as if he forgot about it. This salesman reminded me that buying a pre-owned car is beneath buying a new car. And I don't think he really cares much about the bad reviews either. He will go on selling brand new MINIs. More
