Abiola and his team did a stellar job assisting me with purchasing my 2022 X5 50m. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile by the front desk. While I was competing with another person (he arrived 10 mins before I did) for the same car, Abiola knew that we should be patient bc, "What's for you is for you!" boy was he right! Once he had the keys in hand I knew there was no turning back. From there we sat with Naeim and crunched numbers. He was very helpful in assisting with the correct extended warranty packages as well as provided some helpful tips with financing and loan payment. I walked out with a new car in 3 hours (remember we had to wait for the other customer). I thought that was impressive. But the cherry on top (so to speak) was Amit. As the BMW Genius he is super knowledgeable on all things BMW. He showed me all the bells and whistles my new car possesses. He was extremely thorough and set up everything for me while also walking me through the process if I ever needed to change anything or add another driver profile. But the finale was him assisting me with my sound. Def will be getting the most out of my Harman Speakers. If you are in need of a new/used BMW, I suggest BMW Silver Spring. I've gone to other BMW locations, but this location is the best. From the beginning to the end and even Service, you will not be disappointed. More
I had the pleasure of interacting with a salesperson, Desirea Jackson, and the sales manager, John Thomas. My experience at BMW of Silver Spring was 5-star, beginning from when I walked through the door Desirea Jackson, and the sales manager, John Thomas. My experience at BMW of Silver Spring was 5-star, beginning from when I walked through the door and through when I drove my new 2025 X5 xDrive50e off the lot. Usually, if I know considerably more about a vehicle than the salesperson, I cut my visit short and look elsewhere or request another salesperson. Why? Because if the salesperson hasn’t taken the time to learn everything about his or her product, it tells me that I’m just a number and a commission and there will be a halfhearted follow up after the sale. However, in this case, Desirea knew the X5 inside out and even shared information with me that I didn’t discover in my research. She was also pleasant and professional without being pushy. Desirea walked me through the vehicle ordering process and ensured that I only added options that were necessary for me instead of pushing them on me for an increased sale. The sales manager, John Thomas, subsequently introduced himself and revisited my order request to ensure that I was happy before submitting it for processing. They both kept in touch with me via phone, email, and text to keep me informed of my order status despite explaining that I could track the process via the app. The fully loaded X5 arrived 22 days after placing my order and it was ready for pickup two days later. Desirea welcomed me and made me feel like a VIP throughout the pickup process and John gifted me an additional thank you gift. Thank you, John. I also want to thank Amit, who walked me through the apps, the vehicle setup, the registration process and, most importantly, how to get the most out of the X5. Amit also shared his personal experience with the X5 and then shared some useful information about operating the X5 efficiently. Thank you, Amit. Bottom Line Up Front, my ordering and post sales experiences were 5-star and I attribute them to Desirea, John, and Amit. I am sharing this because the sales persons at BMW of Alexandria and Passport BMW treated me like I was a nuisance instead of a serious buyer. By the way, I paid cash for my vehicle. Therefore, it is because of my experience with BMW of Silver Spring that I recommend them over their competitors in Camp Springs, MD and Fairfax, Virginia. In fact, I’ve heard similar stories from friends who, based on their experience, refuse to purchase a BMW from Alexandria BMW. More
Desirea forgot we had a meeting at my first visit and it seemed like I was taking up her time rather than wanting to sell me a car. In response to many of the questions I asked about a vehicle I was test driving, Desirea kept looking at the information on the invoice sheet. Desirea told me that I would receive a call or text when the car arrived at the port and when it arrived at the dealership; however, I received neither of those messages and texts. In fact, it was the BMW app that notified me that the car was delivered to the dealership; however, after waiting several days for a call or text from the dealership, I texted Desirea directly and was told that car just arrived that day. The gentleman who was designated the "BMW Genius" (apologies, I forgot his name) and helped me set up the car was amazing - very helpful, patient and polite! More
