All three of the guys I dealt with were pleasant and knowledgeable. I came away with the vehicle I wanted, got close enough on the price for my trade-in, and the bottom line was that it all worked out well. As a buyng experience, there was reasonable clarity around price. For example, Rick called up KBB and we looked at it together and could quickly come to the right math. I hated the old school back and forth game with the "let me talk to my manager" dance (I know some people who love it and miss it). There's some of that I overheard when in the showroom, but to Rick's credit, we didn't engage that way (I would have walked away if we had). I'd say there are vestiges of that experience. Found myself sitting too long for one aspect or another of the process. I'd contrast that with a Grappone up in Concord, with its no commission sales model and just a more contemporary give and take experience. I think there is a heightened awareness of customer service at Bonneville and they are trying hard. Not quite there yet, but working on it. I'd go back again if I needed to and that's the most important point to make. More
