It took me 10 months to get a vehicle due to a number of terrible experiences at different Chevy dealerships around the Chicagoland area. We even had a car sold from beneath us at a non-chevy(only because terrible experiences at different Chevy dealerships around the Chicagoland area. We even had a car sold from beneath us at a non-chevy(only because their were 0 Tahoe's anywhere) dealership in Schaumburg. Come in Mr. Rob Johns, he saved us. I called him because I saw some Tahoe's in transit to their dealership. His was the 3rd dealership I called that day. I explained our situation, and he wanted to take our terrible experience we had this entire year, and promised me that we would not have an experience like that at his dealership, and I believed him. That's hard to do. We worked out the purchase over the phone, told him exactly what I needed and wanted, and he promised to make it happen. Guess what? He did. He put me in touch with his best salesman Danny Trujillo due to the sensitivity of our experiences over the past 10 months. Let me tell you, Danny hit it out of the park to add on to our wonderful experience that we already had with Rob. From the moment Rob passed me on to Danny, to the moment our vehicle came in, he stayed in constant communication with me about the status of the vehicle. While it took appx a month and a half to get the vehicle at no fault of the dealership, we understand the condition of the market and shortages. Danny helped ease that pain. After our experience, I did text and call Danny quite a bit because of fears something was going to go wrong, and he ALWAYS made himself available and made my wife and I feel better. Finally our vehicle was on a truck on the way from Texas, and Danny made sure we heard the good news. Our Z71 is finally on the way! We set a time for my wife and I to come in, and I let him know that we have 3 kids under the age of 7 that were going to my parents house for the evening till we are done with the buying experience. I told him that we needed to be in and out as quick as possible because we couldn't leave the kids at my parents too long before they were hanging off the ceiling. He made that happen. He had all of the paperwork ready for us with finance manager Cass. We were done with the whole buying experience including finance in under an hour. Cass put the icing on the cake. A great personable person, and I usually dread going into the little finance room. He made it so smooth, explained it in detail, and capped off the experience with us knowing this is the only place we will shop for our vehicles from now on. I call it an experience because Rob, Danny, and Cass, made it just that. This was an experience because not once did we ever feel uncomfortable or being worked by the sales guy. I knew they were going to take care of everything, and had confidence in that. We have have leased vehicles from 3 different Chevy dealerships now. They made this truly an EXPERIENCE we will never forget. Their slogan might as well be "Come have the Chevy Experience at the Chevy Exchange in Lake Bluff." Thank you for all of your help, and sending home an over worked mom and dad with smiles on their faces. More
