It was truly a pleasure to work with Rob Gale of Cityside Subaru. When my wife and I heard the news that we were expecting our first child, we immediately realized the need for a second vehicle. Although I was already familiar with several of Subaru's award-winning safety features, my wife however, had no experience or knowledge of how great a family vehicle Subaru would make. With that in mind, we scheduled an appointment to test drive both the Forester and Outback. We made an appointment with Rob Gale (as per guidance due to COVID-19) and he was an exceptional treat to work with. Rob heartily greeted us with a warm, yet socially-distant welcome (his smile radiates through his mask), and made us feel quite at ease despite his imposing 6'5" stature (his cubicle is playfully adorned with "Bigfoot" memorabilia). After patiently explaining the different benefits of each of the models to my wife, and allowing us to view, sit in, and explore several showroom models, Rob quickly had our first vehicle available to test drive. He explained we would have full reign of the car during the test drive, and suggested an optimal route that would allow us to test the full functionality of the vehicle at our leisure. When we returned, Rob already had another model ready and waiting for us to test-drive, and when we returned, he again spent another hour patiently explaining all the different trim & color options to my wife. Throughout the entire process, Rob made us feel comfortable, especially given his friendly NO-PRESSURE approach. My wife especially loved how Rob took the time to patiently answer any and all questions she had. I really needed a car, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, I was terrified to go into the dealership. Cityside Subaru was flexible and knowledgeable enough to make it so I could do everything online and pick up was terrified to go into the dealership. I chose my car online and they answered my questions to help in my decision-making process. They patiently walked me through the process of filling out an application, notifying my insurance and setting up financing. There was a little glitch with my insurance agent who was out-of-state and they worked directly with the insurance to get it resolved quickly. Once everything was finalized, I drove to the dealership to pick up my car which they assured me had been sanitized. I never once had to go inside. They are clearly not just selling cars. It’s obvious they really care about making the people they serve happy. I honestly can’t say enough about how much I loved my experience with Cityside Subaru! More
