A very cold and unwelcoming place I have a company owned truck that I've been getting serviced at Dorsch for over 5 years. I am there for every oil change and any service work that ge I have a company owned truck that I've been getting serviced at Dorsch for over 5 years. I am there for every oil change and any service work that gets done to my truck. I want to take great care of my truck because after the lease I get to own the truck. I realize that they are going to be more expensive because they are the dealer, but I would expect that to come with excellent service in a warm environment, but it's not. (1) I've been going there for over 5 years, since my truck was brand new, and I've dealt with the same service person, yet she has no idea who I am. Doesn't know my name or the vehicle that I drive. So instead of having a lasting relationship with her, I get the cold service that you get from someone that you meet for the first time, every time. (2) I don't like having to take my truck back in multiple times for the same problem. If I'm going to take time out of my day to take a service person for a ride to show them my issue, then I expect them to test it after they have attempted to fix it. I shouldn't notice the problem is still there when I pull out of their driveway. Not to mention when I bring it back in for the same problem, she tries to charge me for another inspection. (3) Cost - yes, they are a dealer, but that cost should reflect the service and experience that I receive, but it doesn't, they just charge more. More
Terrible experience Hi. I really have to express our disappointment last night with Jack. We had scheduled our appointment for a particular vehicle which had sold in t Hi. We had scheduled our appointment for a particular vehicle which had sold in the morning- and I understand fist come first serve, but it would have been nice to be told it sold before we got there. And that you still wanted us to come up because you had similar vehicles in your lot --- something should have been said so we were aware before getting there. 2. The vehicle Jack had is test drive- the year bumper sensor was not in he hole where it should be- he said he would have it pushed back through - at his expense he said?? Really!! 3. When we got in the vehicle the low sensor light was on - I commented. He said he walked around the vehicle and all the tires looked fine - that the sensors come on in the cold-- sorry we have sensors on all of our current vehicles and they don't just come on in the cold- maybe because the tires fluctuate due to temps but then they need to be checked!! 4. When we got back I looked at the sticker-- Jack was right next to me- I saw the $31999. And was appalled! When we got inside he asked if he could write us up and I told him I wasn't spending that on that vehicle- then he decided to tell us there was a sale price. I brought up comparable vehicles to show him what we would offer and he went on and on about how the vehicle was certified--- I am sorry but your tech missed 2 major issues - the rear sensor and the low pressure-- certified doesn't mean anything when the job isn't done correctly! Jack also told us there is very little. Difference between 4wd and awd- we found out after leaving this is not the case!! He also asked us about financing and I told him we were working with a community first-- he said they won't want to hear that in the back- they don't like them he said! It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I told him to write an offer for $25000 and he refused- he said that he will be told to put us in a comparable vehicle for $25000-- sorry but that one had close to 50000 miles on it --- we left being very discourage by the whole process. EXCELLENT Service!!! I was in search of a vehicle that would fit my needs. I visited numerous dealers in the area and by far Dorsch Ford Kia won hands down. My Sales Rep I was in search of a vehicle that would fit my needs. I visited numerous dealers in the area and by far Dorsch Ford Kia won hands down. My Sales Rep Lew made me feel very comfortable and took the time to listen and not just suggest anything to make a buck. He was extremely patient with me. (I'm pretty fussy) My purchase was by far the smoothest ever in the 35 years of purchasing a vehicle. Ryan was quick with all the paperwork and overall a genuine and friendly soul. Hats off to your team. I will surely be coming back when its time for another vehicle! More
