Pam is a caring thoughtful professional. I have bought many cars and have never had such a pleasant experience as I had with her. She took time and continues to go beyond the call. He answered all the questions I had and had patience enough to repeat the answer for me when I needed to hear it again to be sure I was making the best decisions for myself. This was my 3rd car purchase from Fair Oaks Ford and the service has always been great, but Darren is the best salesperson I’ve worked with - I would definitely recommend looking for him on your next visit! I am so happy with my Bronco Sport and feel so good about the purchase and financing options I was able to go with. More

FairOaks Ford current situation after buying a certified preowned car in September 2023 We needed a bigger car and wanted a Mazda CX9 but there were no used ones available around our budget, so we were preowned car in September 2023 We needed a bigger car and wanted a Mazda CX9 but there were no used ones available around our budget, so we were directed to ford down the street to look at explorers. There was a certified preowned 2017 ford Explorer available for about $15,000, which is what we were looking for. Ford only wanted to give us less than $9,000 for our 2016 Mazda CX5 so we sold to Carvana for $14,000 (there’s first tip for you) I have had 2 cars in my adult life, both certified preowned(Kia soul and Mazda cx5) and they NEVER had any issues! And lasted the entire time I owned them. This ford was not my dream car but it was what we needed at the time. Even though it was a year newer than our Mazda, it seemed way older. Everything seemed fine until about 2 weeks later when water started dripping in through the drivers side visor… very confusing but we assumed it was probably coming in through the windshield (we were right) oddly enough, right around the same time, the check engine light came on… the few times before the light came on, when I started it, it felt like it wasn’t going to come on and slow to start and then eventually started smoking out of the muffler.. I had called our sales guy about what was happening with the windshield before the check engine light had even come on, so when he called me back I had explained everything going on and he had a curtesy loaner delivered to me that day to figure out what was going on. I’m very surprised that it’s a 2023 explorer but ok, it’s a loaner? Fast forward a week, he calls to see if I have my car back. No. And assures me it will probably be back to us within a couple days. Fast forward over 3 weeks and I have not heard a word about what is going on with my car so I call the service department and they tell me that there is fluid leaking into 3 different chambers of my cars engine so we need a BRAND NEW ENGINE!! BUT there’s an investigation going on because it’s a certified preowned and we only had the car for less than 3 weeks and it broke down. Fast forward another couple of weeks later and I get a call about a 2023 explorer I have, that I’m not supposed to have…they offer me an Edge as a loaner but I need at least 6 seats because I have 4 kids with me most days(the point of buying the explorer) they tell me they don’t have a car that size and I tell them that isn’t my problem, I bought a big car, so I need the same size car… after 3 different phone calls of me saying this, they finally agree and bring me yet again, another 2023 explorer. To their surprise, the first explorer i had did not even have dealer plates, so I was driving around for over a month without plates.. awesome! I then have to drive to the dealership a couple days later to get dealer plates, which is about 30 minutes each way. I talk to service again while at the dealership since I never got any other call about what was going on and he informs me that we for sure need a new engine and they have no idea how long it will be. He literally said, it could be tomorrow a week or up to a year, we have no idea because parts are back ordered….is this for real life? After talking with our sales guy about buying the car back or trading in for something around what we paid, they tell me the car has lost value already and just keep the brand new loaner. Sounds good, right? Wrong! About every week, not even sometimes, I have to swap out cars. That means I have to take out 4 car seats and reinstall 4 car seats each time this happens… car #5 that I had was supposed to be an expended loaner after I made it known that this will not work and is not a solution. Not even a week later I get a call that they need it back, they’re selling it. The lady tells me it’s not her fault(I know) she’s just doing what she’s told and I’m sure she’s aware of this situation as well. But every time I talk to someone, it’s like I’m inconveniencing them….i have her send me More
