Decided to buy another car but disappointing I bought a Honda Pilot back in 2003 at Herb Chambers Honda in Seekonk and had that vehicle for over 14 years. It was time to look at another car so I I bought a Honda Pilot back in 2003 at Herb Chambers Honda in Seekonk and had that vehicle for over 14 years. It was time to look at another car so I went back to Herb Chambers in Seekonk. My salesperson was John Arraujo. I purchased a certified 2014 Honda CRV. I had to wait over a week for my vehicle since they took it to have some scratches taken care of. When I picked up the vehicle I was not given any paperwork so I assumed it would be mailed to me. After a month of no paperwork I went in and my salesman said that Bill in finance should have given it to me. I waited to speak to Bill for over an hour then I decided to cancel the service plan that they charged for $2,415.00. He did and said I should receive a check in 4 to 6 weeks and gave me copies of all my paperwork. I called 11/14/2017 and asked Bill when I could receive the check and he said to call the service company. I called the service company and they said the dealership would be sending it. So I called Bill back and he said no, call your bank. I called my bank where it was financed and they said it would come from the delearship. After all the frustration and finger pointing, I called the dealership and asked for a manager. They gave me John Henriques who said he would look into it and call me back. He called me back after an hour and said I should receive a check in a few weeks. I asked him why Bill in finance did not tell me that in the first place. He said he could not answer for anyone else but that he would call me once they receive the check. After this experience I will never purchase another vehicle from them. I do not trust them at all. More
Excellent experience no stress easy! I had a great experience last year buying a CRV for our daughter and I decided to go back to this dealership to buy another CRV this year. Sam Aljallad was excellent to work with buying my new CRV. He was knowledgeable regarding all of my questions regarding safety and the new upgrades in the CRV. He was patient and did not pressure me for the sale. I test drove the 2017 CRV two different days and Sam was flexible to my schedule. Sam was willing to work with me recognizing I am a repeat customer for Herb Chambers Honda in Seekonk. Scott Bousquet the Sales Manager was also very interactive in my sales deal. I appreciated his time and consideration for being a return customer. I plan on going back within the next couple of months to buy another car as our family is adding more drivers. The team of people I worked with through the entire purchase process was competent and friendly. Sam, Scott, Kyle (in finance) and Recoo (He was awesome explaining all of the technology in the car!) Great team at this dealership! More

First Class Dealership Scott Birtles has to be one of the most honest GM's in the business. It says a lot about a dealership when he has employee's that have remained there Scott Birtles has to be one of the most honest GM's in the business. It says a lot about a dealership when he has employee's that have remained there for many years. After meeting with Scott and learning he was Herb Chambers first employee that earned my respect even more. It means Herb Chambers also treats his employees well. It all starts at the top. The experience buying my 2017 Honda Pilot Elite was the best. The deal was easy and dome with honesty and integrity which goes a long way with me. My sales guy Jim Downey and Rico who helped me learn all the amazing options my vehicle had, was also First Class customer service. Then when I met the service manager Tom, he was a great guy as well and his staff is top notch. You just get good vibes throughout the entire experience, from start to finish. While waiting in service for my black oem rims to be installed I observed the staff and customers throughout the dealership. Everyone seemed happy. Everyone was being helped and it was extremely busy with many customers. I could tell customers loved this place as much as I do. They make you feel like part of the Herb Chambers family. They treat every customer with respect, kindness and compassion. They don't over sell or push options and packages on you like many dealers do. When we went in to give a deposit, Scott came out and sat with us, talking and having great conversation. Just an easy laid back experience that day. The day we went in with the check to pay for my Pilot, it was just as easy. Jim worked hard to get my Pilot ready to be picked up same day and I truly appreciate that. What more can I say.... Oh and they had the best price but honestly the overall experience was worth any price. I will enjoy servicing my vehicle here and referring everyone to buy here with confidence. More

Not your typical car buying experience This is my third visit back to Rancier at Herb Chambers and I received the same exceptional customer service, honesty, and professionalism as I have i This is my third visit back to Rancier at Herb Chambers and I received the same exceptional customer service, honesty, and professionalism as I have in the past which keeps me coming back. I used to dread buying cars. The games, the negotiating, the hard sell, etc. The experience at Herb Chambers, and with Rancier specifically, is no pressure and completely transparent. Rancier had a quote emailed to me. They put their best price in writing from the start and it was exactly as they stated when I went into the dealership. Rancier is so easy to work with and low pressure that he tried to convince me to buy a less expensive trim level (which I didn't end up doing but I appreciated his effort). Rancier and the dealership strive to ensure every customer is completely satisified and don't stop until that happens. He is extremely responsive, even on his days off. I am so happy I have found Rancier and Herb Chambers and will continue to be a life long customer. More
