Everyone was very nice and helpful. Hopefully it continues now that I purchased the vehicle Hopefully it continues now that I purchased the vehicle More
My service advisor Kayla is the only reason this is not a one star rating. She made sure to keep me updated on all issues and going on with my truck. I have currently been waiting a week at this point to rec one star rating. She made sure to keep me updated on all issues and going on with my truck. I have currently been waiting a week at this point to receive a call from the head of the service department about a potential refund due to repeat visits to fix the same problem that was eventually turned into my extended warranty sold by the dealership but not before I have paid out of pocket twice. The only regret we had was the finance department person who we told him we already had finance approval the credit union but he did nor listen and ran our credit through again and caused 2 more hits on our who we told him we already had finance approval the credit union but he did nor listen and ran our credit through again and caused 2 more hits on our credit rating causing it to drop added a higher % rate on our loan and higher payment. Our preapproved loan was confirmed and the credit union only needed the contract sent and all was done. But no. It was miserable. My loan officer at the credit union told me he should not have done that running our credit again. More
Sales Brian Ries was excellent. Informed Thornton that we were reapproved with the Credit Union and all was needed was the contract sent. My payment and percent of the loan was a Informed Thornton that we were reapproved with the Credit Union and all was needed was the contract sent. My payment and percent of the loan was all set up. But he had my credit ran through a second time and now we pay more for the loan. Said our credit and payment was all set up but did not listen. he needs to understand what preapproved means. I would recommend your dealership and Brian but watch out for the finance person because he does not understand when you come in as a preapproved for finance. Now we have 2 hard marked on our credit report and not 1. Brought down our credit rating. More

My whole Jim Butler buying experience was anything but happy. This last service visit included getting brakes and controller arms on a car I've had a little over 2 months. (I had to wait two weeks before they got the car in to look at). I had to text the dealership manager when it was the day AFTER my appointment and the service advisor never contacted me, and would not return my calls. They had already had to replace a tire a few days after I bought my car due to a slow leak, not sure why they didn't see/fix it then. I was in the "Fresh Start" program. It started with this: After walking out the first time after feeling bait and switched, I was contacted again about 5 weeks later by a different salesman. So I asked him about a car and said I would be back the next day to see if I wanted to take a test drive. They ran my credit AGAIN without asking first, which knocked my credit score down even more. Salesman Jacob said oh no it won't effect your credit... it did.. Then I finally got my new car on a Tuesday after giving the down payment etc., on a Friday with a broken key fob. Went back after making them give me a good fob, and it wasn't programmed correctly but I'll let that go.. I felt bullied by the finance department, Anthony and Tyler - it was their way or else, but since they had already ran my credit again I knew I was stuck getting a car from there. I met with the manager (Tim) of the dealership, who gave me coupons for free oil changes and tire rotations, and Mike the service manager gave me a loaner car when the brakes/arms were being worked on, but after all of this, it doesn't make me feel any happier about this dealership. I WAS a repeat customer but not anymore. More
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Jim Butler Chevrolet. I purchased a 2024 Chevy Silverado that was advertised at around $68,000, but by the time you add the taxes, fees, financing, an Butler Chevrolet. I purchased a 2024 Chevy Silverado that was advertised at around $68,000, but by the time you add the taxes, fees, financing, and extended warranties, I’m paying close to $100,000 for this truck. At that price, I expected quality and a dealership that stands behind what they sell. Instead, my rear window leaks every time it rains or I go through a car wash. I called a month ago to schedule a service appointment because that was the earliest opening they had. When I arrived, the service technician even told me his truck has the same issue, which made it sound like this isn’t an isolated problem. After checking me in, I was told the repair would not be covered because my three-year bumper-to-bumper warranty had expired. That’s unacceptable. A rear window should not leak on a truck that costs nearly $100,000. This isn’t normal wear and tear—it’s a defect that allows water into the cab and can damage the interior and electronics. I purchased extended warranties believing I’d be protected if something like this happened. When I bought the truck, I was promised outstanding service and that I’d be taken care of. Unfortunately, once the sale was complete, those promises seemed to disappear. Jim Butler Chevrolet has had the opportunity to make this right, and they chose not to. I believe they should repair this defect at no charge and stand behind the vehicles they sell. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Jim Butler Chevrolet. More
