I had a Hyundai Sata Fe 2004. I wanted to sell it to a private party but it had some ABS and airbag lights on and off so I called Lithia to see how much they would charge for a diagnosis of my car so I co private party but it had some ABS and airbag lights on and off so I called Lithia to see how much they would charge for a diagnosis of my car so I could show the diagnosis and sell the car to someone who might me interested. I called and explained the issues. The lady who answered the phone and scheduled the appointment said it would cost $160 for the diagnosis. I took my car in. Later on I called to see what the diagnosis was. Different from what was said over the phone when I scheduled the appointment, this time they said it was $320 for the diagnosis. They said it was $160 for each light on. I was frustrated but agreed because there was nothing else I thought I could do at that point. I just wanted the diagnosis. Then the next day they called me and said they didn't have the exact diagnosis yet, they just knew it was an electrical issue. But they also said that if I wanted the complete diagnosis they would charge me even more than the $320. I said it was not fair because originally I was told $160, and now it was $320 and going up. So I told them not to touch my car anymore and I would come pick it up. Then they called me three times trying to make me buy another car from them and give mine in as a trade. I told them I had already bought a newer car, a Nissan Rogue 2018 from a private party. They said I could trade in my 2004 Santa Fe for $1,000 and my 2018 Nissan Rogue that I just bought for $15,000 and buy another Nissan Rogue 2018 from them for $23,500!!! They were trying to convince me it was a good deal because the Nissan Rogue they had was 30,000 miles less than the one I bought. I said it was crazy and refused it. In the end I got my old car out of there, had to pay $320 for an incomplete diagnosis, and sold it to a private party for $2,000 being totally honest about my car issues. So what I have to say about Lithia Hyundai is: RUN!!!! Run away from them! More
