2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Stephen hunted us down when we'd barely been on the lot for 60 seconds. Figured that detail was in important. Stephen's patience and explanations were on point, and though it took a little while to get there, I left the lot with an great set of wheels the very next day. Here’s the email I wrote to Kevin regarding my new purchase experience with Travis: Good afternoon Kevin, My name is Zach, and I am an extremel Here’s the email I wrote to Kevin regarding my new purchase experience with Travis: Good afternoon Kevin, My name is Zach, and I am an extremely happy, new, Raptor owner. I would like to tell you about my experience, from the start. In the police world, which is where I work, we call these types of things "atta-boys." You and Travis deserve so much more, but this is the least I can do. In 2018, I decided that I wanted a Chevy ZR2, but wanted to wait to see what the 2019s looked like. My budget was $40k, $43 tops. My wife and I are the type that will do 6 months of research to spend $50, so a raptor wasn't even on the radar, mainly due to price. We are frugal, and $70k on a truck seems silly. And realistically, one could buy 2 brand new ZR2s for the price of 1 raptor. Anyway, in April 2019, a guy who was on swat with me bought a brand new raptor, and took me for a spin in it. Needless to say, it was badass. So I started researching, which took months and months. Towards the latter part of the year, I joined the Ford Raptor Forum, It didn't take long for me to start seeing Travis's name come up. After crunching some numbers, my wife who controls the money, said a raptor would be easily doable, and paid off in under a year. The final test was driving my friend's raptor around Tucson for an afternoon, and taking it to a Chevy dealership where I test drove a 2020 ZR2. I truly wanted to do a side by side comparison. Within 30 seconds of sitting in the ZR2, there was no easier choice than going with the raptor. I got Travis's name/number, and texted him. In under 10 minutes, he responded, this was on a Monday. Travis was very patient and understanding and helpful in ways one can only dream of when buying a car. I can tell you that Travis is the exact opposite of what one thinks of when they picture a car salesman. In short, he could/should be a model salesman, or a poster-boy for what every salesman should aspire to be, how they treat potential customers, and their dedication. Travis even dealt with me on his days off. By that Friday, he answered my countless questions and alleviated any concerns, not only about the process, but about Ford, the raptor itself, and so much more. We corresponded through text, email, and phone calls. I'm sure I was a pain in the butt. I slept on it one more night, and on Saturday December 7th, called him and left my deposit. During the processing/waiting/build/delivery timeline, Travis continued to treat me like I was his best and only customer. I too was raving about him on the raptor forum. I have also told my fellow police coworkers, who always want trucks, and friends and family members about this whole experience too. In conclusion, as you can already tell, I'm Travis's biggest fan. Long McArthur Ford will also be my ONLY Ford dealership that I ever buy anything from. I have no idea what a Gen 3 raptor will look like, and while I plan on keeping my 2020 for a long time, I think I could be persuaded to seriously entertain a Gen 3. I will probably be further convinced after taking the Raptor Assault Course later this year. Oh, my wife used to drive a truck, but now has a Lexus RC350 sports car. It would not surprise me if we have his/hers raptors based on how much she likes mine. Obviously Travis will get the call! Kevin, Travis told me that you are a big reason he is so successful. I don't know how things work in your world, but thank you for allowing Travis to thrive. Travis needs a raise, a promotion, bigger commissions, and at a bare minimum should be training the next salesmen to do what he does. I would ask that you acknowledge his awesomeness, and please forward this to YOUR boss, or Ford, so they can see what type of people are working for them.
