Brought in my own 1qt oil. Service advisor quoted me $50, said wouldn't mix so I bought the filter & 3qt oil at nearby shop. I also bought another oil & filter (gift) for a different vehicle at home. Because I brought my own parts, $25 + $55 for oil & spark plug service, respectively. I bagged it all in one bag and told advisor on front seat. 1 hr 1/2 later, was honked at to walk 30 ft away from where I dropped off car & paid for it, keys left in ignition. I asked the rude valet, "Something wrong?" He ignored question and walked off. Why would I have to travel away from dealership to risk my car getting stolen? On the drive home, noticed their mechanics took the spark plugs out of the bag with the oil & used MY OIL (that was to be a family gift for a different vehicle). That means they ignored my instructions, bypassed the oil and then went perusing through my stuff in a different bag to find the different oil. Left me the old spark plugs in the same bag. Was told manager would call me back. Waited half an hour, called them. Then, said call tomorrow because the manager's not there. Such lack of communication, ignoring responsibility, and worst, not correctly following up on their mistakes. I've been to other Hondas before and none of them ever had such incompetence. As of now, a couple days later, still not resolved. From the signs not labeled at all (signs for "service" are NOT for service unless you have "express service", which wasn't explained) or incorrect labeling (you're supposed to drive to "parts" & "sales" for service), to the poor communication skills (if you drive forward, go through their maze of a lot to get out), and absolutely no accountability, this dealership is the worst mishandling of a vehicle I've known. More

My experience yesterday at New Century Honda was outstanding. I was there for a regular service. The service rep. was Haybert, whom I have dealt with many times. I've been to New Century Honda of Glendale twice. Both times for oil changes. I like how the service representatives treated me and how they serviced my vehicle.
