Work not completed in a timely fashion/no notification I brought my vehicle into fast lane as was recommended by the main service person/ they were not able to compete what I needed done- electrical short I brought my vehicle into fast lane as was recommended by the main service person/ they were not able to compete what I needed done- electrical short in rear lights- vehicle then moved main service area and I was told it would be done by that evening. That evening I called to check and was told they would get to it 1st thing in the morning. When I called to check the next day at noon ( they never call you to update you on the progress) it was not yet looked at and I was upset as I was told the night before that it would be in the 1st thing in the morning. It did get in to a technician that afternoon and by 4:00pm i had to call again and was told it had not been diagnosed to a point where it could be fixed. I asked if he could get it done by closing at 6:00pm They indicated they would try but could not guarantee it. I indicated I needed to pick it up by noon the next day. When I arrived they indicated they had not done any further work ( 2 hours available the night before and 5 hours that morning- so 7 hours to continue to work on it. I picked it up after they had it for 2 1/2 days with the same problem with no diagnosis and no phone calls to keep me updated. I now need to bring it back in to have the problem fixed. More
Fuel pump replacement Car quit running and had to be towed to dealer. They diagnosed problem as a inoperative fuel pump, gave me a price for the repairs and once I okayed Car quit running and had to be towed to dealer. This was my first visit to this dealer, and I will go back for any repairs my car might need. More

First time service at Phil Long Ford Just went in for an oil change, and was most impressed by the quickness of their Quick Lube service. felt i was overcharged labor. would not give me a summary. replaced several engine gaskets. labor for breaking down engine to get to gasket is basic charge which i feel was double charged for each gasket. Usually Excellent but Had Two BAD Days. I go back over 25 years with Phil Long since that are as perfect as humanly possible. Please appreciate that these comments relate ONLY to my visits I go back over 25 years with Phil Long since that are as perfect as humanly possible. Please appreciate that these comments relate ONLY to my visits of February 27th and March 1st, 2018. The vehicle was presented for an oil change and a vehicle safety check. The rear brake pads needed replacement. The power steering hose was defective resulting in a gradual loss of fluid. The service advisor stated that neither part was readily available. I was offered a change to wait for two to three house for the parts to be delivered or I could come back again at a later time when the parts would be on-hand. I was told that the parts would both be available the following day, February 28th. Given that I made an appointment for 7am on March 1st, two days later. SURPRISE! Apparently someone forget to order the parts. AMAZING! This is extremely atypical of my over 25 years of experiences with the Phil Long dealership on Wadsworth Boulevard. Hopefully, all will be good from this point forward. More
