"Service team is excellent"

Service team is polite, professional and the work always excellent. During the six years of owning a Volt, they have taken the time to show me and my son the underside of the vehicle and explain how the car “works”. I appreciate their knowledge and enthusiasm for new technology. Great group to do business with, and competitive pricing. I recently replaced the tires there, after shopping around the area - great deal.

"Bad experience "

I was very skeptical about buying a Chevy Cruze from Phillips Chevy. Hands down the worst vehicle I've ever owned. I have always been a Dodge fan but decided to try a Cruze for the gas mileage because of long commutes to the city . While the mileage is much better than a truck, the amount of wasted time and money at the dealership is not. I bought this Cruze in Feb 2012 and have had it in the service dept (not including oil changes) 11 times. The car is five years old. Absolute garbage. My most recent occurrence at this Phillips dealership was an oil leak. This was the tipping point. I had called the dealership prior to dropping it off about their policy on not fixing the problem yet charging for the work. They guaranteed success but as usually it was not. They took the car in for the last four days,charged 2300$ to fix an oil leak. Picked the car up after work, parked it in the garage and found a puddle of oil under the car after 10 minutes. This is completely unacceptable. Once I called them up and was transferred to Art he was basically no help. Zero empathy towards my situation. This place had no problem taking my 2300$. Absolute B.S. With no question this is the first and last time I will ever own a Chevrolet vehicle and while I have to deal with this lemon for a few more months any other issue will be brought somewhere else. Total garbage!!!! On a side note Dan K at Phillips was immediately helpful after I had to call up to talk to someone who cared. We shall see if the saga continues once the car gets picked up some day , who knows. Stay tuned.

"Service fast and efficient -Thank you!"

I went in to have a regular oil change and an issue with door panel discoloration fixed on my 2015 Camaro. The oil change and door panel issue was resolved in less than an hour, each member of the service team was patient and understanding with me and quickly resolved the door panel problem. What I thought was discoloration was just a white stain that needed to be cleaned properly and Phillips removed the stain for me! Thanks everyone!

"Awesome Alamawi"

- Fix It 1st

I really appreciate the sales team at Philips Chevrolet. I drove my 2014 Chevy High Country in for an oil change and tire rotation. While the service was being performed Rami shared with me how he could buy my 2014 High Country and put me in a 2018 High Country. He stated that all this could happen by the time the service for my 2014 was completed. I agreed and Rami started working his skills. He found me some great rebates and other beneficial incentives. Now I'm rolling a 2018 fully loaded black ice 6.2 liter HIGH COUNTRY. I mean Silverado High Country! The reason to make this clear is because things we're moving so smoothly at Philips Chevy, that I decided to BUY my wife a 2018 Traverse HIGH COUNTRY. I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP IF IS WAS BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH a certain person IN SERVICE. Phillips Chevy should be greatful to have SUPER SALESMAN RAMI!!!

"Who / What can I believe?"

I purchased a new Chevy Cruze and the protection package A (Auto Care Wrap). I was impressed when I first pulled into the service area. My name appeared on the screen in front of me so I'm thinking this is good. Later (4:30 pm) I was told the car would be ready in one hour. I returned in one hour (5:30) and I waited until 6 pm before I asked about it. No one seemed to know where the car was. Finally Brad comes to me with the key and says lets go get it. We go outside and he tries to toot the horn to find it. He sends a young porter with the key to the other side of the building. I'm waiting and waiting. Then I hear a car engine running and discover my car parked and running all this time. I went back in to Brad and told him I found it running and the gas was 1/4 tank down from when I brought it in earlier. He offered me a $20 gas card and went to get one. Came back empty handed saying they didn't have any. He then said he will have a porter take it across the street to get it filled up. That took 20 minutes. Brad said I didn't need to wait for paperwork that he would email it to me. It is now 4 days later and I am still waiting for the paperwork. I called the service department and they said they would let Brad know. Still waiting. I got a text message from Dan K. thanking me for servicing with them and to reply with any comments or concerns. I did comment my concerns. Again, I am still waiting. First, you can't find the car; then I am the one who finds it and the engine is running; then I am offered a gas card that doesn't exist; it takes 20 minutes to cross the street and fill the tank; I am told I will get paperwork emailed to me. four days later I am still waiting. Where is the integrity and service in all this?

"This place will rip you off!!!!"

Took my car here for repair. NEVER AGAIN!!!! They charged over 3 times the price for the part (not including labor). They did not tell us the price upfront, although shame on me for not asking. Have emailed and when called for a survey asked for a manager to call us they failed to. That garage used to be super busy. Now I know why they are not. Buyer beware!!!!

"Great sales exp, but turned away by Service "

I have a new 2017 colorado that has an off center steering wheel ,made a appointment to bring it in and have it corrected after driving out there from joliet in 5 o'clock traffic, I was told they were not going to align it cause it didn't have at least 500 miles on it. That wasn't a factor when I made the appointment, but after I drive out there they say no. So now I have to wait approximately a week when I have 500 or more miles on it and go back, Well Hawk Chevrolet in Joliet is alot closer to me ,I may just go there instead, My time means something too. They could have said you made the appointment and someone here didn't know what was going on and you are here so we will go ahead and take care of it. But No it was like they didn't even care so I may or may never go back for service..The Sales Department does such a great job and you leave feeling like you made a great purchase and then you need service and it's a total let down. At this point how I feel is I wish I could give this truck back to them and take back my trade.
