I went through True Perks discount program through my company, and Savannah O'Connor reached out to me immediately. Her emails were very friendly and informative. they also offered us a gift card to take a test drive! We decided to visit in person and were met by a very friendly face, Mr. Jerry Johnson. he asked if he could help us and we told him what we were looking for. We sat down at his desk in one of the cleanest, prettiest dealerships I've ever been to. He asked questions and gave us some great information, and grabbed a Forester for us to test drive. he took about 10 minutes to educate us on all of the features that this amazing vehicle had before we drove it. On the test drive, he showed us so we could see/ feel and experience them. This vehicle blew me away! And Jerry was amazing. He was like a caring father who knew everything about every vehicle, and took the time to listen and educate us. And there were NO pushy sales tactics. Just straight forward, honest information. Even though we decided to "do our due diligence" and check out the other vehicles we were considering, we couldn't stop thinking about the vehicle and the overall great experience we had with Subaru of Jacksonville and with Jerry Johnson in sales who really made it wonderful! They had a taco truck on site that day and offered to buy us lunch and drinks! It was like being with family. Now they are family! Mike in the finance department was very organized and went through our paperwork explaining everything and giving us some great information! And Josh in management was so friendly, letting us know if we needed anything to let him know. When we came back to pick up our new vehicle, he remembered us and came by to say hello. We are so excited about our new Subaru Forester, and to be part of the Subaru family. Helped with access to trunk A Tale of Two Dealerships: It was the best of times -- it was the worst of times. Not all dealerships are created equal. I was on vacation and got A Tale of Two Dealerships: It was the best of times -- it was the worst of times. Not all dealerships are created equal. I was on vacation and got locked out of my trunk. I went to a Subaru dealership (out of state and I won't say where) and just asked for help getting in. I was brusquely told they were too busy and I could maybe make an appointment in the upcoming days, but certainly not that day. I worked around access to the trunk until I got back into town and drove directly to my home dealership (Jacksonville Atlantic Blvd). Even though they were busy and I had no appointment, Gabe and two other members stopped what they were doing, discussed among them what the potential problem could be and had me fixed in less than 10 minutes. I was elated and it made for a good ending to my vacation. And they didn't even make me feel like an idiot since ultimately this situation was caused by "operator error". Many thanks. So now, I appreciate even more the terrific service I have received every time I have brought my BRZ in. More
